They have a nice selection of wines, though I don't know how a $400 bottle pairs with a slice of very avg. pizza. The limited menu didn't impress...the meatball was overly salted, the pizza soggy in the middle. The crust was flavorful but could have been cooked more. They offer dessert...but no coffee!? Service was good...the place has few tables and less atmosphere. A disappointment after we had heard good things about Irene.

Fluffy, perfectly charred, nice chew and just the right amount of saltiness. I ordered a Margherita pizza to go and ate it later that evening and it still tasted excellent. This is as close to authentic Italian pizza as it gets. My only gripe is they open at 5pm so it’s difficult to eat there more often. The restaurant is tiny and cozy so reservations are a must if you do go. I can’t wait to come back and try another pizza.

I went out to Pizzeria Irene for my Dad's birthday and the ambiance, food, and service were all amazing. My Dad and family were so happy to be there and we enjoyed every second of the experience. Needless to say we will be coming back over and over again. Also the wine on their menu is really good and it just pairs so nicely with the pizza and really everything on their menu. I can't say enough good things about Pizzeria Irene. You must check it out!

Since we arrive the host was really helpful to get us seated since we didnt have a reservation. We appreciated the small menu with great looking options, ceasar salad was amazing!! All the pizza ingredients had great flavor and the atmosphere was friendly and fun. Plus, they have one of the most beautiful pizza ovens I have ever seen. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

The best pizza in OC (OK, tied for first with Folks and Truly, but that’s some great company to be keeping pace with). The Caesar salad is as good as Taco Maria‘s, and a perfect complement to the pizzas. The service is great, very kind and helpful. If that wasn’t enough, the wine selection is better than any pizza place anywhere that I’ve found, closer to something you’d find in a upscale trattoria. PS: the housemade ice cream is a real treat, especially the coffee flavor. And the tiramisu is so good that I never once noticed if someone else got a bigger portion than me, I was so busy enjoying mine. Happy One Year Anniversary!

Disappointing experience at Pizzeria Irene’s.We arrived at 6 pm looking forward to dinner, only to find out that walk-ins weren't being accepted until 8:30 pm. It would be helpful if this policy was clearly posted on the website or at the entrance. As travelers, we enjoy exploring local food scenes, but tonight's plans didn't work out. Hopefully, they'll consider updating their policies to better serve visitors.

I got a margherita and a beer togo. I ate the pizza right away. I didnt think the pizza was bad but for a can beer and a 10inch pizza? It was $38 without tip. Seems a little inflated. I wish them the best of luck

One of the best Neapolitan style margaritas in Orange County! Their pepperoni was also phenomenal. You can absolutely tell they take great pride in their pizzas. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. Friendly service and great pizzas.
