Oh my goodness! Just like the poke bowls I had in Hawaii! So fresh, flavorful, and packed with umami—this place is a hidden gem. Every bite took me back to the islands. Honestly, a part of me doesn’t even want to leave this review because I know the lines will get longer… but the other part of me wants this place to thrive so I can keep coming back for years to come. Major props to the owner for keeping it authentic and delicious!

I eat here at least once a month. I usually get a large poke bowl with half salad and brown rice, 3 salmons, and 2 tuna in sesami shoyu with everything except wasabi. Highly recommend for people craving a poke bowl! The owner is very kind and generous in servings.

Literally the best poke place ever. I’ve been going here ever since it first opened when I went to El Modena High School 6 years ago and always on my list of places to come back to eat when visiting from college. Prices have to change here and there due to inflation but has always been reasonable and a lot better than other places. It’s a local Japanese family that owns this place too and has been so nice every time. I saw someone complain about portions but it’s really up to you with what you get, they offer ALL these complimentary toppings for free but if you choose to not have them then it’s on you.
although the location is small, I definitely recommend this place with delicious food and great service <33
I can't give the atmosphere 5 stars only because it's a small place to want gather and eat at. Otherwise it's amazing. Priced great for fresh quality food. I love coming in here! Staff is super friendly. I prefer this place over others for sure!
