The food was pretty good. I would recommend their garlic soup one. (The habanero one is really spicy)

This place usually has a line, but if you go early enough of during off peak hours you'll be served quickly and efficiently.
The staff are always friendly and the quality of the food is very consistent.
My wife picked up the vegan yasai ramen which is a ginger mushroom broth base, while I ordered the standard spicy tonkotsu.
If you come during lunch their $1 special is an incredible deal, if you come after lunch then their other add on deals are still definitely worth it!
We shared an additional rainbow roll which was an assortment of their salmon, tuna and or yellow tail with a crab combination. A great deal and option if you wanted to try all their fish.
The ambiance is very nice and easy going, a small quaint space with lines and tables moving quickly even if you're outside waiting. Definitely a worth while spot if you're looking for sushi or ramen!

Ramen Mura in Orange, CA, is my favorite place for its rich, flavorful ramen, especially the Black Ramen with pork broth and black garlic oil. Their cozy atmosphere, and diverse menu, including sushi and customizable combos, make it a great spot for a satisfying meal.
It can get a little busy during lunch time, beware and plan accordingly, waiting times can vary and perhaps a bit longer than usual. Specially if you have limited time for a break.

The tonkatsu had no seasoning It tasted only of pork. And the spicy tonkatsu only tasted of chili powder. Also the waiter was a bit pushy to upcharge me.

Highlights: Great sushi, well priced
Ramen: don't be fooled by the picture while it looks pretty good the ramen it was quite a disappointment. Broth was bland and way too milky tasted like the season packets the ramen was supposed to be a little spicy but It didn't feel or tasted spicy, noodles were not handmade or tasted great almost tasted like top ramen noodles not soft pretty firm, pork belly was overcooked not tender at all and not seasoned well either.
Sushi: I ordered the rainbow roll and the fish tasted really fresh and flavor full and tender. Rice to fish ratio was evenly portioned. The weird fried middle piece was odd but not bad for the sushi price was great.
Final thoughts: the ramen was a real let down I think the restaurant should just focus on being a sushi bar id go back for the sushi only I wouldn't recommend the ramen or try the others if a basic dish wasnt close what others I have tried. Thank you for reading :)

The nondescriptive restaurant at corner of Main and Chapman in Orange is a gem undiscovered!
I had dinner 2 years ago and it was ok at that time. I gave it another try lat week and it exuding my expectations !
The spicy ramen had a silky feeling the taste great with just enough spices. My friend had the chicken rice bowl and he was very happy with it.
The cold Sapporo was cold and satisfying in two sizes the large one easy to share !
All in all it s a 10 !!!

Ramen was OK, my fault for choosing pork but in my defense is was a chicken and pork… it was just way more pork. Our appetizers came after lol. Chicken was undercooked or was just dark meet which is yuk. Egg rolls were pretty good. I also really liked the broth in the soup and the little water dispenser was cool lol. The joint is pretty small and can get packed. Next time I will get some Sushi and another soup.
Parking: Parking was easy. At night there is more open parking.

Their ramen is delicious. Go for the black ramen. Appetizers are all solid, including the spicy edamame and tempura.
Combos are a pretty good deal, with half off some of the best cut roll sushi options. We go here regularly.
