Amazing food and wonderful service as always!

We had a reservation for two on a Friday night. Got there and it took 30 minutes until we managed to place our order. It then took another hour until we actually got our food (we only got it after asking if our order got lost). Guys, seriously? An hour and a half for two plates of pasta? And no explanation or apology? All while servers are chatting with regular customers left and right? Obviously, the owners don’t care much about new visitors , since they‘re comfortable with their regular customers who have been going there forever. Decent food but bad attitude and service. ?

What a gem! This place is excellent. Great food, real Italian.They will make you almost anything they have the ingredient for. They have been here forever. Give it a try.

Make sure you have a reservation and plenty of freetime, I feel they went out to mill the wheat to make the flour to use for the pasta. The pasta sauce was nice and rich, plenty of butter.

Pretty cozy place for a cozy dinner in a Friday

We happened upon this place trying to decide where to eat out and we were so glad we did! It was my husbands birthday dinner so we wanted to go someplace extra special. The food was amazing and authentic, decently priced (most entrees around 20), and the service was great too. They gave us a free cheesecake slice and even sang for my husband since it was his birthday. I’m sure we’ll come here again

Great service. This is a wonderful family owned restaurant. Authentic Italian food. Great cheesecake. Our Ice tea was never empty and tasted wonderful. My husband and I had about 5 refills. We drink a lot with our meals. The place little hard to find. Our gps went a little wacko and took us through a neighborhood. We think it was taking us to the allyway that leads to the back parking. The store is next to red wing shoes. They have lots of twinkling lights out front. Make reservations. Priced reasonably and well seasoned.

This incredible gem is not the normal Italian Restaurant, this place is way-way better. While they have an extensive menu, they will also make almost anything for you. Plus their menu already had anything I could have imagined. Highly recommend!

We were invited out to Ristorante Mascarpone in Orange, Ca.We had a 5:00 pm Sunday dinner reservation. They turned people away without a booking.They were packed by 5:10pm.The baked No. Atlantic salmon was a large portion and very fresh and firm. The sauce was a white wine mustard and capers sauce and it was just right. Salads were fresh, cold, crisp and a nice size. Filet mignon was pretty amazing, being cooked to medium rare perfection, flavorful and tender. Also a large portion. Our guests had lasagna which was good. Another had Saltimbocca which was very salty. The fettuccini Alfredo was watery. Entrees came with seasonal fresh veggies and a side of rigatoni.Garlic toast was tasty. Wine list is worthy.Service is excellent with 4 different servers taking care of us. It's a family style, old Italian eatery but I found the atmosphere and decor clean, but dated and dingy.The parking lot is behind the establishment and being our first time we parked on the curb on Katella in front of the restaurant and walked in a door of a storefront looking type building that looked like it was actually closed for business!Our bill for four of us with 1 bottle of Cabernet at $35.00 was $208.00 including 20% gratuity.I am not sure we would return. With everything that they do have positive a little Italian villa, farmhouse decor would enhance the experience but in light of that they seem to be doing very well. Good!

This unassuming place is off the charts delicious. Gotta do the veal or pork chop. They run out every night, and next to their homemade cheesecake, it's the best things on the menu.

Thank you Renee and Pepe for the most delicious and fresh Italian food! We are vegetarian and the salad and entrees were absolutely delicious. They were able to make us a spicy marinara sauce with garlic and green onions-delicious!!!The homemade bread as a starter was yummy, warm, and soft.We also order pesto gnocchi and spicy marinara spinach & cheese ravioli. Delicious!!!

This is the best Italian food restaurant I've ever been to. Great, delicious food!! I'm very happy I came to eat here. I recommend Mascarpones restaurant if you like real Italian food.

This is an intimate family owned restaurant. The bread is grilled and delicious. The house salad is delicious with their homemade blue cheese dressing. I had the salmon special with great sauce. My friend has the veal piccata and it’s sauce was also delicious. We tried the coconut pineapple cheese cake which sounds weird but was super light and yummy. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area. Excellent.

I love supporting small family owned businesses like this restaurant. The food and service truly show care and quality. This is a hidden gem in our neighborhood. I hope my sharing will bring more customers. I plan to come back here regularly with my family and tell my friends about this little gem!
