We had a reservation for two on a Friday night. Got there and it took 30 minutes until we managed to place our order. It then took another hour until we actually got our food (we only got it after asking if our order got lost). Guys, seriously? An hour and a half for two plates of pasta? And no explanation or apology? All while servers are chatting with regular customers left and right? Obviously, the owners don’t care much about new visitors , since they‘re comfortable with their regular customers who have been going there forever. Decent food but bad attitude and service. ?

I walked into this restaurant, thinking that I had a taste for lasagna so I approached the counter and asked the lady if they had lasagna she gave me a look that was quite strange and said no we only have one or two so I was confused if I was to sit down and have lasagna do you have some or than one or two that you do have? Is it old or not fresh? I asked And she said well yeah we have one or two, but she's shaking her head and looking at me as though she didn't want me inside, so I just turned around and walked away. I'm an African-American woman. She did say that if I didn't have reservation, she didn't have room for me with the 6 empty tables that I'm staring at I left, but I did go back and let her know. It felt quite racist. I would not recommend this place for Afro-Americans.

What can I say? The best Italian food since I visited Italy! Delicious! Hot and flavorful. The most authentic Italian food you will get without going across the pond.

I was here for lunch today and I've never had such an amazing experience at any restaurant. The service, the food, the ambiance. I had the Alfredo with chicken and broccoli and I was amazed at how it was so flavorful but was made from scratch. Now the service was top notch. I've yet so see an owner as dedicated to seeing everyone satisfied and enjoying their experience as Pepe. His attention to detail and quality is unmatched. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice filling lunch, a pleasant dinner with family or anyone looking for the best dessert they've ever had. Mascarpone's is at the top of my list!

Make sure you have a reservation and plenty of freetime, I feel they went out to mill the wheat to make the flour to use for the pasta. The pasta sauce was nice and rich, plenty of butter.Vegetarian options: They have them
One of my sons recommended this restaurant, and we were shocked that it was so close to where we have a place. So I made reservations and I husband and I went. We had their Chianti wine which was pretty good and my husband had chicken marsala and I had lasagna. They both came with soup or salad And we had the salad. The garlic bread was just so so. The service was great and they came around and made sure we had water. We ended up drinking the whole bottle of wine. I believe the owner said us, and he came by to make sure we were doing fine which was very nice.

Cute little store front restaurant, warm and cozy, plenty of seating, mouth waters from the scent of deliciousness that socks you right in the nose as you open the door to enter. I was A EXCITED about eating, so you chills imagine my UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT in how we were treated! Didn't even start to eat because the older man behind the bar WAS NOT FRIENDLY IN THE LEAST!!! I believe the lady said his name was Pepe. NOT ONE OUNCE OF HOSPITALITY, FRIENDLYNESS, or DESIRE to have us dine their establishment. NO PROBLEM! I'LL TAKE MY MONEY SOMEWHERE MY BUSINESS IS WANTED! If I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD!0/5 stars! AT THIS POINT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! If for some unforseen reason we decide to give them a second, and they rise above this review, I'd be MORE THAN HAPPY to post an updated review.

The best cuisine in Orange County Every single item on the menu is outstsnding! Mascarpone's has an extensive menu and great wines and cocktails. We have been dining here for over 30 years and Pepe & Ronnea never disappoint. Our favorite didhes are: Filet al Pepe, Spinach Rsvioli, any fish dish, lasagna and spaghetti. This is a local favorite. Most of their customers have been dining here for decades. Treat yourself and someone else by enjoying this lovely restaurant.
