Rubio's Coastal Grill

I ordered online. It was ready and waiting on time. I orderer fish and chips. To be honest, everywhere you go it's frozen cooked battered fish. But I do like Rubio's and the service was great!

Dissapointed, i have tried from a Rubios in Costa Mesa and the food tastes so much better, fresher and the chips are warm. This place, the chips are cold, taste like cardboard and an aftertaste of oil. The salsas were watery and taste like tomato paste.

I called in my order and asked for the fish on my fish tacos specials to be on the side. It takes me a while to get home and I wasn’t going to be eating for a while so that helps me not get a soggy taco which ruins it for me. They actually packaged everything up separate and I was able to assemble my tacos fresh at home. I thought that was really nice and went the extra mile. Very nice employees took my order, rang me up when I arrived and gave me my meal as soon as it was ready. Just wanted to give some recognition, especially during the holidays when things can get hectic. Thanks for making sure my dinner was excellent.

whatever they served me sure ain’t fish and chips lol just fried like a filet and didn’t even add batter. It’s sad lol hope they do better next time cause whatever i got sure ain’t the advertised fish and chips.

They skimp out hard on the portion. I got a rainbow bowl with extra mahi and extra sweet potato which came out to $24 bucks! When the food came out I couldn’t believe it. It seemed like those portions were the regular size but it wasn’t it was the double. I can’t imagine how little the portions are with out the double upsize . Any ways save your money . I should of gone to chipotle

The reason I’m giving them a star and that shouldn’t even give them one star because it was 10:15 when I arrive to have something to eat with my son, we walked in my son sit down and I don’t know if it was the manager. The lady said we are closed, but the doors were wide open and I was already after 10. I asked why we needed to leave she said we’re not ready. We just started cooking. I said your your hours are from 10 AM and it’s a little after 10 she said no we’re not ready. I said what time would you be ready? She said it’s gonna take us 35 to 45 minutes so I walked out with my son.
