A great place to go retro to the age of train travel. And, its aside the RR tracks from LA to Oceanside and San Diego. Restaurant and bar have outside seating along the tracks but you can sit inside and still see the trains pass by. Some stop as its also a train stop (Orange). Our lunch was great. Served so hot had to let our reuben and hamberger cool a bit. Large menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Full bar. Got time to kill. Cross the street to the free Hilbert Museum of pastels, watercolors, oil, and a collection of early portable radios too?

This place has great traditional breakfast. I was able to edit and substitute menu items according to my dietary intolerances. Plus, they have real and fresh fruit instead of slimy melons and grapes. How refreshing!!

Not what it used to be. There were multiple kids in the dining area with the model train and the servers could care less to turn it on. I had to ask them why it wasn't working and the guy seemed like I was bothering him. He said they only turn it on if it's busy. Imagine if all companies had the mentality that they will only give you a good experience of its worth it for them. I took my daughter there specifically to show her the model train after riding the Metrolink like I did for my son when he was young. This experience was disappointing and I won't be doing it again.

This was a very convenient spot to have dinner, located right at the Metrolink station. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal constantly coming back to check on us and refill our waters. Food was also very good and we were happy we had dinner here.

I go pretty frequently here for Trivia Nights. The staff is amazing and does very well to get everyone’s order out with so little employees. Greg is the best! He knows EVERYONES orders but always double checks that that’s what we want before bringing it out to us. The rest of the staff is always so nice and friendly.

Yeah, I walked in and it seems like the right side was closed but the left side had people, not sure if it’s short staffed but I was waiting to be seated so I stood there for 10 minutes and nobody came so I sat down for another 5 and nobody came. I didn’t see any menus on the tables and there was no sign that said to seat yourself. I also thought this was a rubys but it’s called the streamliner now?

I recently visited the Streamliner Lounge and tried their hobo chili, which paired nicely with a refreshing red ale. The combination was perfect for a cozy night out. The loaded taters were absolutely addictive—you can't just have one! On the other hand, my wife's southwest chicken salad was just okay; it didn't particularly stand out.
Service was adequate. Not busy but it felt like we may have been forgotten for a bit.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd definitely return for the chili and taters.
This is Ruby's, which means that the food and the place are OK, but not great. I had a salad with dry chicken that I won't be ordering again. The place was mostly empty.

What a gem! Tucked into the side neighborhood, easy parking lovely building. Cute little train atmosphere. Staff are terrific and coffee is good. I ordered jameson and banana French toast and it did not disappoint. I will be returning!

I found out about this place through my cousin who was performing live with her band. It was great getting to sit at the bar, order a milkshake and enjoy the live music. Very nice place to enjoy a meal and get together with friends. The staff was great and I only regret that I wasn't hungry enough to order more food.
