Food is mediocre. But the reason for 1 star is because of 2 separate events. Our first time there we ate as a family and I barely had enough cash for the bill plus a 2 dollar tip. The lady at the cashier looked upset over the tip and said "That's it?" I went back to my car to get 2 more dollars in quarters. To which she took, scoffed and put in the tip jar. The second time, my daughter and her friend went and they shared a plate. But when they when they tried to pay the exact price for the meal, the waiter told them to wait and came back saying they didn't pay enough and they needed 1 more dollar. They gave him the dollar and watched him put the dollar in their tip jar. I'm just going to leave it at that, you decide what kind of place you want to eat at.

Hidden Gem in Orange!The food is always fresh, staff is very friendly and accommodating, feels like family.
I work at the college up the road so Sushi Boom is within a reasonable amount of time to get to. The food is wonderful. The service is usually outstanding. The atmosphere is ok for such a small space. I don't eat a lot of sushi but when I do, it is usually at Sushi Boom.
Parking: Parking can be tricky depending on when you visit. There are a few spots out in front of the restaurant and more at the side but they are shared with two other businesses. There is street parking nearby as well.
