Taco Mesa Tortilleria Organica & Cafe

Love this place, been coming for years. Had a couple of dishes that were served cold, but not always.

Food took a little long but well worth the wait - it was excellent and at a great price

Food portions got smaller and they have raised the prices quite a bit. I would now consider this one of the expensive restaurant.

Best taco tuesdays! Goof value on the tacos but sometimes the hardshell tacos taste really stale and hard to chew, not sure why that is but if they could fix that it would be even more perfect

So sad to see this place get so run down. I've been going there for decades and recommended it to several people.

The food quality has started to go down, but the main reason we will never go here again is because they now allow homeless people inside. Recently, one of them smelled so bad we had to complain to the staff. They said as long as they pay, they won't do anything. It's understandable the restaurant had no other customers. I reached out via email to Taco Mesa and they never replied.

My wife is a nurse and she said the homeless are handling the silverware and the soda machine and could be spreading diseases!

Goodbye Taco Mesa! Sorry to see you go!

The staff is great, relaxed environment, and I love their calamari burritos, but I wasn't raised in a Mexican household my wife that was said it's not very good. In my experience they seem to be good at seafood related items but not so good at other meats. The chicken I got my wife was dry. All the food is expensive for Mexican food 2 burritos I know everything is expensive now but they were more expensive even before inflation. If you go get it from the sea.

I loved all their gluten free options. My wet blackened chicken burrito was delicious!

I ordered a Carne Asada burrito lots of beans cheese etc. Really disappointed my past few orders
I can count the tiny amount of asada meat. If I wanted a bean and cheese burrito I would have ordered one. ITS CALLED A CARNE ASADA BURRITO!!! Not beans and cheese for $17 + where’s the beef

Always amazed by the food at Taco Mesa. Healthy ingredients, authentic preparation, and genuine care. Really appreciate where they are going with all that and glad to eat here frequently.

This Mexican food flips the script on every other Mexican restaurant. Heavy, fatty, and creamy are three things you will never describe their food as. The food is uniquely refreshing, light, and aromatic. As Californians we all think we know what Mexican food will taste like before we bite into it. Not here. If you're tired of heavy food, or just want something so delicious you think about it for three days and then write a review online, this is the place to go.

The steak burrito was more like a bean burrito with some meat. I wouldn't recommend getting that.

I'm so happy to see the salmon taco with papaya salsa on the regular menu. Used to be a daily special.

They didn't give me salsa. Very good otherwise

Taco Mesa offers some great items: the burritos, the bowls, and the salsas are great. The food is fairly priced and there is plenty of seating.

What puts TM over the edge when it comes to other restaurants in the area is working with Irene. Each time I go in, she's friendly, warm, and has great suggestions on menu items. It's always a joy working with her.
