The food was overpriced. Twice as expensive as most othe places and the tamales were half the size, they where mostly masa. Normally the if there is too much masa its usually nit too terably bad but the masa was also dry. Always wanted to try this place now that i have i will try to find another place.
I came to this place because I was at a shop close by that didn't have a restroom, I needed to go. I walked into The Tamaleria to use their restroom & of course I didn't want to use their facilities without supporting the business so I got some beef tamales and I haven't been able to stop thinking about them ever since. Hands down best Tamales I've had in my life (and I've eaten a lot of tamales in my lifetime.) The masa is so flavourful and light...
Rude cashier, I wanted no onions and it came with half a pound on them. She then told me “I had to put it on the notes” which I saw none. She then continued telling me the same thing and I basically told her I had heard her already, her ? n got was not gonna make the onions go away. The tamales are super small too for $3. Not going back.
