Do not sleep on this one. Great food. Super excited they now have delivery service. Their breakfast burritos are my favorite however everything I have ever had from here is good.

I recently dined at this fantastic Mexican restaurant and had an amazing experience! The shrimp tacos were flavorful and cooked perfectly, while the fish tacos were fresh and delicious. The Al pastor tacos were a delightful blend of spices and tender meat, and the Asada nachos were absolutely mouthwatering. What impressed me even more was the complimentary chips that came with the meal, adding an extra touch of hospitality to the experience. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend trying their pineapple agua Fresca! Another hit! The only downside is that they charge 4% if paying by card. I will definitely be coming back

We were told by our neighbors to check this place out. We're hooked! I love the fish ceviche. The fish taco is my favorite. We now go every week if not 2 to 3 times a week. The staff is really awesome. We've gotten to know a lot of the folks that work there.

Extremely good, Very Friendly.. Highly recommended. Pricinging is generally very fair. Just wish for $8 you got more than just two taquitos.. but tasty... Tacos are the absolute go to!!

Food was great, called in my order and it was ready on time when I got there! We got carne asada burritos, and I wanted to try the carnitas so I got a taco. The burritos were big and well balanced with meat rice and beans. The carnitas was SO GOOD, better than the asada! And came with chips and salsa which I wasn't expecting, great first time experience

Great tacos! Tuesdays and Thursdays for their specials. Cabeza tacos are my favorite

So good. Love their gobernador tacos! They have quality asada, not full of fat, but cooked with lots of flavor. Great burritos too.

Although I have lived in East Orange for 35 years this was my first visit to El Picosito. Here are some pros and cons:Pros: The food is pretty good. The Taco / Enchilada plate was well seasoned and competently prepared. The presentation was pretty nice too. I like the big windows with a good view of Chapman. I don't like eating in caves, but maybe that's just me. They have good menu. It is pretty hard to find Gorditas but it's on the menu here. Cons:The music is really loud. The clerk had a hard time hearing our order. It was hard to chat with my wife. Pricing is a little high. I notice in the menu photos on Yelp that the plate orders have gone up recently by over 10%. I get it, labor and ingredient costs have gone up. That being said, this is a competitive market and I am not seeing anything special enough to fully justify the price. --------------Will we go back? Probably for takeout. The loud music was a bit much.

How did I not know about this place. Trying new places I never know if it's safe. Came on Taco Tuesday and the street tacos are $1.50! They have 5 types and 2 is cow head! I wasn't brave enough to try it though. Looks like they have fish tacos too and it's the special for Monday/Wednesday, I'll have to go back and try! I tried the carne asada and Al pastor. But I also ordered chips and salsa which were free! Wow! What a little gem! They have so many options so definitely worth a visit! SYOY!!
