MEMBERSHIP NEEDED! When I walked in the store the lady at the cash register didn’t greet me. I grabbed everything I needed and then a lady came out from the back and the first thing she asked was if I had a membership. When I said no she rudely said that I could look around but I couldn’t buy anything. She didn’t even tell me how I could get a membership if I wanted to purchase anything. I left immediately. Rude workers and was not like this before. Won’t ever be going back.
I have shopped at the store for years but now it is absolutely just not worth it. You need to purchase a membership in order to shop here now. If you are looking for more than cake boards and fondant I highly suggest you go somewhere else.
I’ve been a member here for a few years and have shown my support as a customer giving referrals and sharing about this location to many local bakers. Unfortunately a lot has changed with this company and they have become completely unprofessional and their customer care is terrible. They never have items in stock but I though that it being an exclusive members only shop this year they’d have better supplies and more stock and that’s definitely not the case. Not worth the membership anymore and definitely not worth supporting. I don’t know who’s running these stores but they have become very unprofessional and it’s not the same as it used to be. There are other locations in OC that carry cake and candy supplies, keep their items stocked, have great prices with no memberships needed and communicate professionally with their customers that are definitely worth giving your business to.
I hope refunds are going to be given for the membership we paid for. Came to shop a few weeks ago just to find out the store is closed for vacation with no notice given, now temporarily closed. I drive every week to come here for supplies, pay for a membership, which has my email on file. Least you could do is use everyone’s email to send a mass message about being closed. Would have been nice to receive some kind of explanation as to why I can’t shop somewhere I pay for. Will no longer be coming here and finding supplies elsewhere.
Extremely unresponsive, and unprofessional. Their lilac brand products are always out of stock, asked them to call me when they receive a stock, yet they never called. Tried to call them 5+ times for past month, no one takes phone call, so I checked their hours online and visited only to find out they went summer vacation with a single notice on the door.
Nothing like being told I have to pay to shop at a store. No, I’m not paying your membership fee. Your products are not unique and can be easily purchased elsewhere. I was planning on spending far more than what you would have made off charging me a fee but now I have such a bad taste in my mouth I’ll never go back to your store.
I attempted to call in to inquire on their editable image printing. A Gabby answered and put me on hold for 15 minutes. I finally hung up and attempted to call back but the line was clearly still off the hook, so I was unable to get through. After a 30ish drive, I arrived there only to find out they didn’t have sugar sheets. If they had just had decent phone customer service, I wouldn’t have had to waste my time and made an unnecessary drive.
Absolutely NO inventory and they make you pay $10 Per day to shop or a yearly membership of nearly $100. I literally have more baking and candy supplies at home. I guess they're not doing well and have to gouge people to make a dime. Ridiculous!
We have shopped at this location before and had no complaints until recently. My family and I eagerly drove for half an hour to buy some cake pop supplies. Upon arrival we were unaware of the new membership policy (which should be made crystal clear as to not waste people’s valuable time). At the cash register, we were attended by a cashier who made no attempt to help us. Not the best customer service, to say the least. We’ll be going elsewhere to purchase our baking supplies from now on.
MEMBERS ONLY ALLOWED, silly. There isn't anything special at the shop to make it exclusive. In my opinion this is a quick way to lose the majority of potential customers.

Wasn’t a fan that they became a membership only store. Going to start going somewhere else.
It was my first time at this location because I was passing through town. I was not impressed, the girl at the counter was rude and not knowledgeable at all. This company seems to have gone down hill. If I could get a refund on the membership please reach out to me because I can never find anything i need. A waste of my time and gas.. especially if I'm driving out of my way after calling and being told they have product in stock when in reality they don't. At one point they had everything I needed and more but now its just better to purchase on Amazon. Cheaper and you don't have to deal with rude people.* you should really train your people to know the difference between a drum and a board*

I noticed several people had the same complaint as I do. Since you have a website why wouldn’t you state that this store is for members only. I too drove over 30 minutes to get there and then as I’m shopping I get told about the membership needed. But they will helpYou out by letting you buy a day pass for $10.00!! I’m sure they don’t post that it’s a membershipOnly store because I’m sure most people like me, will pay the $10 because I needed the item! What a ripOff!!!!
