Although this Wienerschnitzel location is right off a busy street, it still had an easy access and plenty of parking. The atmosphere is somewhat marred by where it is situated, but the food and service was exceptional! Not quite 5 stars, but 4 stars is pretty darned good! Maybe just do the drive through?! Lol! Wonderful service for sure ?????

Parking: And they even had several handicapped spaces! Nice!

So the other day I was telling my son about how I used to really enjoy the classic chili dogs from Wienerschnitzel. He seemed kinda surprised since he knows we never go to Wienerschnitzel and he wondered why I had never gotten him a chili dog to try - which was a very good point!The thing with the chili dogs is that they pretty much have to be eaten in the car - right after they have been purchased - when the chili is hot and the bun is still soft from being steamed or warmed...

Gotta "Love the Chicago Dog"Mom's from the North Side, Dad was from the South Side.We used to always have Hot Dog Night at home and all the Chicago-style fixins & condiments we're on the table for everybody to choose. That was a fun time? & a great memory...
