Excellent food. It's unfortunate they are closing but I'm happy the owners can enjoy their family and retirement now.

Great Food! Unfortunately they are closing their doors after the holidays. I will miss this place greatly.

Amazing food and quick service. Fun place to dine. Do yourself a favor and go before they close at the end of the year.

Much more than two dollar signs on price; quite expensive. I would give it at least $$$. Food good, and plenty, if expensive. Service was good. Parking is in rear, AND A BEAR to access from the street. Right south of this place is an assisted living facility. You can also turn into their driveway, and drive around to the back to the restaurant. Expensive.

Mediocre and way overpriced. Had better food at panda express. The waiter said he would bring us butterfly shrimp which we ordered but brought out small popcorn shrimp pieces. He said it would cost us $13.00 for a side of broccoli. Steamed rice does not come with the entree you buy. We ordered chicken fried rice which was not good. The eggrolls dripped with grease. There were 4 different waiters who hovered over you and even took my friends plate when he was not finished eating. One waiter waited and actually told me.."one more bite?" waiting for me to finish eating so he could take my plate. They moved items around on our table while we were eating. Dont come here on a date because you will not be left alone to enjoy your meal. The mu shu pork tasted straight out of a freezer meal. Horrible food. Almost 80 dollars for 2 people and all we had was food and water. Horrible experience we will never go here again.

Best Chinese restaurant in the area. Been coming here since the 80's with my parents. It's served family style so you can order a few different plates and share with your party. All selections are pretty standard and basic. Nothing crazy but the quality is worth the price. Their house tea is fantastic. Love this place.

Stopped at this place with the family on the way home from Disneyland. They are in an interesting older building that's been set up really nice inside. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. I recommend their Yen Ching beef. It was delicious.

Best Chinese food in all of Orange County. Authentic food, excellent service and the atmosphere and ambiance are very pleasant and warm. Great place to take the family and the portions are more than generous. Been going here since I was a child. It never disappoints.

We have been dining there for over 25 years. My son was on leave from the USMC and we planned a NYE dinner for the family. There was just nine of us. We made reservations and we showed up on time. We literally said down and the waiter asked us for our order. We didn't even get a chance to look at the menu. So what was intended to be a nice meal ending the year turned in to literally a meal for eight that took 45 mins. It sucked!!! We were so rushed and when we complained there was no response from management. Like I said, over 25 years of eating at this restaurant and it was our last. They ruined what was supposed to be a great meal with our Marine into something that we will never forget. BTW our son returned to Base today and it was a topic of discussion of how disappointed he was in Yen Ching. That sucks!!!!

I love the mu shu pork and the flaming pineapple chicken.

My family has been going here since I can remember, so over 30 years. We went for our Christmas dinner last night, and received only half of the dinner. When we inquired about where the rest was, we were told by the waiter that he has requested it twice, but it hasn't been made. The soup was lukewarm, and it took us another 30-45 minutes of waiting to get the food we ordered to-go and be able to actually pay the bill.

The least-Chinese-looking Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. Loved the pineapple chicken and hot and sour soup. Great service!

Always a great dining experience.
