Who knew such an unassuming location would serve the most delicious dumplings? The name of the restaurant doesn’t lie — YUM, indeed!
After a long walk, we arrived HUNGRY. We ordered 12 different dishes: variations of steamed pork dumplings, pork and shrimp dumplings, pan-seared dumplings, fried rice, and noodles. Everything was flavorful and fresh, but the highlight was their pork soup dumplings. My 2 daughters demolished four orders on their own — they were that good.
The dough is perfection. They were the ideal thickness, slightly chewy, and just the right texture to hold all that juicy filling without falling apart. A great “toothsome” bite - just how proper dumplings should be!
We also enjoyed their onion pancakes - crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside. We ordered fried rice and a beef stir fry - but, unfortunately, they paled in comparison to the dumplings and onion pancakes.
We’ve come back 6x since our initial visit and took home food. My kiddo never makes it home without polishing off one containers. Definitely recommend.

A dumpling and noodle place in Orange, the dishes look great so we came to try it again. I don't remember what we ordered the first time but I ordered the beef tendon noodle soup, as you can see from the video... If you like to chew rubber, you might like it. The tendon wasn't even cooked enough, it was super tough, if I bounced it hard enough, it probably could reach the ceiling 😅 since it was a beef and tendon noodle soup and all the tendon wasn't edible, it's only soup and noodles. Funny thing is, the waitress actually saw me making the video and commented, they're tough huh? I said yes. She said she would tell the chef and that was it. How can a restaurant serve this to the customers is beyond me... The dumplings on the other hand were quite good, the dumpling skin was chewy with a bite to it and the filling was nice. That's why I gave them two ⭐.

This was our family’s first time at Yum Dumpling. We ordered several items to sample. We tried the steamed juicy pork dumplings, steamed pork buns, shrimp and pork with chive dumplings, pan fried pork dumplings, pan fried pork buns and the egg tarts. Everything was SO good! The staff was very welcoming and even took our picture in front of the restaurant to commemorate out first visit. Yum Dumpling in a MUST TRY!

I ordered their beef noodles and 8 pieces of dumplings. I didn’t get my dumplings until I had finished my noodles. The beef was too chewy and tough! The broth was too salty and spicy! The dumplings are not good either. It lacks of ingredients and seasoning. They are over priced as well. I spent almost $40.00. for two items lunch! Overall was a big disappointment! I will not come back again nor will I recommend anyone!👎👎

Best in Orange, Tustin area by far. Impeccable and professional service. Went on an early Friday night, were first to seat, within the next 30m it filled up, plus, lots of take-outs. We had luscious Hot & Sour soup tangy to perfection, 3 types of dumplings bursting with flavors, pancakes and a refreshing cucumber salad. Hot tea in a glass with refills. 4 1/2 stars and a definet come back to try other dishes.
