I walk in at 8:30pm today 5/11 and this blond kid cashier told us is closed because they were slow. He didn’t want to sell us for what I saw they were trying to close early. There were people eating inside the restaurant with a fresh just ready pizza. Horrible service please get better employees because most adolescents just refuse service because they want to go home.

Zitos’s is hit and miss sometimes ok others just bad. This location is by far the worst as it is consistently bad. An example is the Zitos Special, it’s supposed to be loaded and it’s not. The pepperoni is supposed have 100 slices of pepperoni I counted 21-29-25 on 3 pizzas never even close to 100. The beer is warm and the wine is not properly kept and tastes horrible. The employees here are rude very unpleasant especially the women…they hate their jobs it’s obvious as it can be. The location at the circle is more consistent and definitely put out a better product but still not very good overall. I would go anyplace else because as bad as it is the cost is top tier and it’s just not worth it.

I have been going to Zitos Pizza places for about 40 years. My dad took me to the original one (located across from the Orange Mall) the first week it opened and we've been loyal customers since. When we moved to Long Beach, we kept Zitos as our #1 pizza place. It's now the favorite of my husband and son. I've been to every location they have and the quality is always amazing. The service is always polite, knowledgeable, and quick. I tried to find a pizza place in Long Beach that was as good as Zitos, but I haven't. Their food is worth the drive and I will always be a loyal customer.

My family and I have been coming to Zitos for many years. We always loved the service and the food was always great. But since coming to this location it has completely changed my opinion. The workers at this location almost always seem annoyed and we have gotten burnt food or Knott's on multiple occassions at this location and with the food being expensive that is frustrating. They have worst customer service. If you come to eat here just beware you may not get all your food, the food will be half burnt and the workers genuinely don't care. I'm not sure about their other locations but this one sucks. We paid for 3 pizzas and only got 2 last time we were here. When we asked about the last pizza not only did they not make the pizza they said they'd make it "if we want it." Once we finally got the pizza when we were far past done eating. They took back the receipt saying they can't give us a free pizza they originally authorized for the inconvenience because we now got our pizza and couldn't refund the pizza originally since we got half our order. Then after all that the worker asked us "what what do you want." Literally the worst. If you want to eat at Zitos just don't come to this location, try another one.

Came in a the guy helping us was a rude as can be... The food quality went down from before... Would not recommend we got one extra large pizza two hot subs and the Irish potato wedges.. the pizza look like they barely put any toppings the sandwiches were okay but really soggy in the Irish potato wedges are not worth the money they're dry barely have any cheese and disgusting spent almost $80 there not worth the money

I try to give a place another chance when they mess up an order. I had been getting pizza here for a long time. There garlic knotts are what kept me coming back,pizza could be a hit or miss. But I'm sad to say that I can will never pay for there pizza ever agian .
Tonight we got 2 pizzas ,this is a Margaret.
Its always been really good but this is now the 3rd order of pizza in a row completely thrown together like they just don't care. The other 2 orders same way, half of the pizza has hardly any ingredients, the other has them but has hardly anything that I paid for on it. The pizza is like they tossed the dough in grease before adding the cheese , when you pick up a slice is soaked in oil grease top and bottom.
Absolutly disgusting, we just ended up going to the park across the street and giving it to the homless people. I could not even keep it for myself. The knotts tonight were ok, they actually burnt some a bit.
I hope this is not the new way to cook the knotts , if so they have lost a customer for life.
