I have had breakfast twice at Annie's. Don't have the french toast or pancakes. Today my egg was over medium instead of over easy and my pancake was doughy and turned to paste in my mouth. The answer I got was "sorry honey". Rated a 3 instead of 2 because my wife said her breakfast was good.
The food is good and the prices are cheap. Annie's is your typical greasy spoon establishment. I usually eat the egg breakfast and my lady eats the country fried steak. The burgers are decent too. The food has never failed to satisfy. We go to Annie's every month or so...typically on the weekends. Generally we are seated within a few minutes, if not immediately. I used to come here growing up and then we headed to the bookstore after. I always got the pancake or the eggs and hash browns. Was always amazed by how big the pancake was. I'm sad to see them go, was a childhood favorite.
