“Been gone for two years in the military. They absolutely destroyed this place almost nothing remains. Gone is the arcade and football memorabilia. The prices have ramped up so much. “Absolutely great experience. We ordered to our hotel tonight. Wow. Wish we came more often. I might order one to take home. Pizza was great, garlic bread was great. Ranch was great. Everything came hot and cold as it should. Even sent little cups for my soda. We travel a lot and it’s hard to find a place that looks out for the travelers. They gave us everything we needed! 10/10 and I would order weekly if we lived here again lol.“

“Normally I’m not one to write reviews but I am beyond impressed with the selection of fries they have. I’ve tried multiple but i have two primary go to’s: the bulgolgi fries and the asada fries. Good portions for the price you pay. Service is always quick and efficient. Very friendly staff.“

I'm so happy they've survived the challenges that come with running a small mom and pop shop, including the pandemic when a lot of businesses didn't survive. Their food is craveworthy, their service is always pleasant, and I appreciate that their operation is very clean. This place is a real gem, and if you haven't tried them yet you're missing out. “Von’s Chicken in Rancho Cordova is such a great find! The chicken is always hot, crispy, and full of flavor — you can really taste the quality and freshness. The Soy Garlic and Original Crispy are my go-tos, but the Hot & Spicy hits the spot when you want a little extra kick. Don’t skip the baked chicken as it’s perfect if you want something lighter but still packing tons of flavor.

The sides and starters are just as good — especially the cheeseballs and sodduck sodduck. Portions are generous, and even the takeout stays crunchy and delicious.

The staff here are super friendly and attentive — they take the time to explain the different sauces and flavors, and it’s clear they care about their customers having a great experience.

Overall, Von’s Chicken is consistently excellent — fresh, flavorful, and served with genuine hospitality. Definitely one of my favorite go-to spots in Rancho Cordova!“

I recently visited this pizza shop, and it was amazing! The pizza was so good – everything was delicious. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cheese and sauce were flavorful, and the toppings were fresh. I had the combination pizza, garlic pizza, and taco pizza, and they were all perfect.
They have a lot of pizza choices, so you can find something you like. They also have something new and different – a Nutella pizza with strawberries and bananas on top. It’s so delicious! The garlic knots were also really tasty – warm, buttery, and soft.
The staff were friendly and quick. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe, making it great for a meal with friends or family.
I highly recommend this pizza shop if you want tasty food and great service. I’ll definitely go back!“

“Great atmosphere. Casual. Good on tap menu. I go for the hard ciders on tap! Staff is always friendly. They bring and carry the great vibe in here. Food is good, all bar foods, nothing fancy. Taco nachos are a must try! Surprisingly, salads are really good too! All of the different entertainment they have from sports to music and pool… you will find something to do to here for sure! “The last 4 times I've ordered pizza for the kids have been from Pizza Twist. This is a new favorite and my new go to for a quick pizza. The place is welcoming and the staff is pleasant. The pizza itself is amazing. Personally, I think this pizza is much better than Round Table Pizza or Mt. Mike's, for a more reasonable price.

Vegetarian options: You can have them build a pizza the way you like.

Customer service to the fullest is an understatement, to others the service you guys provided me tonight will be very light to them, but to me, it meant the world, I felt like we were all old friends that caught up on the phone. “Every saturday I get a medium pizza to go right at 3pm here at this location in Gold River CA like clock work for over a year. All the employees there are great and I really mean that, it literally has become like an extended family. However, one employee really stands out. His name is Gem and this young man is way ahead of the game with me. He usually prepares my pizza himself and makes it LOADED with fixings and cheese, I literally need a fork to eat it! To top it off, he generally see's me walking up to the door and comes out from the back with my order in hand and beats me to the service counter, then prints the receipt and I am out the door, never have I had to wait! You are SUPER GEM!! Someone there please give him a raise!! Its hard to find workers like Gem, so when you do, reward them as you should and hold on to 'em!“
