Loved the atmosphere! Stopped in on our way up north for work and the food was excellent service was friendly and coffee was on point! Try the Camaguey sandwich with turkey and guava jam… and their Moros y Cristianos was the best I’ve ever had! Beans were perfect and the rice tasted so moist almost like risotto. Great plantains.. I had the Cortadito coffee and it was delicious!
I forget the name of these sandwiches, but it was turkey with a jam sauce and cream cheese. My stomach was off for two days this is such a weird combination. Very rich, sweet and nothing you’d want combined together. Then the bread soaked up the salad juice and created a soggy bottom. Those should be separated. I had other sandwiches in the past that were great but this so disgusting! This is a Midwest hungover version of a Cuban sandwich, don’t ruin your day! I want to be...
We had some much fun in this restaurant. The food was great, the drinks were amazing and the owner and staff are friendly and helpful. I happened to go on comedy night and what a blast. If you haven't caught a comedy show there, you definitely should put it on your list of things to do! 5 stars, definitely recommend.
