Several of us were staying at a nearby inn and were too tired to go out after a long drive. Ordered in from Trattoria ullaveto at the suggestion of the hostess at our in. We just wanted small plates so I ordered meatballs and sautéed spinach. Spinach was rather scant…like a tablespoon worth and while I asked for garlic this was a little over garliced. Nonetheless, meatballs were good and the quick delivery was wonderful!!

It was such a perfect day for me and my 2 good friends who drove from LA. I told them Only in Uliveto would you experience that homey atmosphere, heavenly delicious seafood pasta and with Chef Alfonso coming to your table chatting with you. PERFECT ?
THANK YOU too for accommodating us yesterday. Appreciate that truly.
Thank you Jose for taking care of us.

The ravioli combo was so good I wanted to cry a little. Jose was great. Too bad I'm only in town for a week.

All I can say is the waitress Sara makes this place! She was our waitress tonight and we loved how personable she is and really made us feel welcome since we are in town for a wedding. What we thought was going to be a quick dinner and head back to the hotel turned into a great date night because of her customer service. Her and Josh would check in on us at the table just the right amount of times. Thank you Sara! Also was great to have delicious Italian food since where we are from doesn’t have authentic Italian restaurants like this one.

We had a great time and delicious dinner! Chef Alfonso Curti gave back to the community and supported cancer patients as he donated to Mission Hope Cancer Center a percentage of May 16, 2024 sales!!!!!

First of all, if anyone is looking for a romantic to place to have a date or a special event then you found it at Ulliveto in Old Orcutt. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is professional, kind and attentive. The cocktails are perfect and the food and desserts are amazing. I love that the owner Alfonso welcomes everyone like family. And everything is freshly made. Gold mine. ☺️?

I’m from Pasadena and missing the delicious food and restaurants, so when I found Uliveto’s I was so happy! I’m hooked on the clams in a white wine and garlic sauce with pasta. Dipping their delicious crunchy French bread in the sauce is divine! I came back a second time asking for their clams and it wasn’t on the menu, but the owner overheard my disappointment so asked the chef and they made them special for me.

We absolutely cherish our family visits to this wonderful local restaurant, which has become a frequent dining spot for us. It's not just the exceptional food that draws us back, but the genuine warmth and hospitality shown by the staff and the owner, Alfonso. He always makes an effort to step out from the kitchen to greet guests personally, ensuring everyone feels welcome and cared for. What truly sets this place apart for our family is the special attention Alfonso pays to our son. He has forged a remarkable connection with him, often inviting him to the kitchen to try his hand at making pizzas. These experiences have made the restaurant a memorable spot for our son, and it’s his absolute favorite! The ambiance is cozy, the menu is delicious, and the staff’s friendliness makes every visit delightful. As realtors, we frequently recommend this restaurant to new homeowners in the area because it embodies the community spirit we love. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won't be disappointed!

Strange variation on bruschetta that looked more like a reheated pizza. My rigatoni entree looked like a larger pasta. Prices are a little high for the quality, but the quantity was ok.

The corned beef & cabbage was one of the best I've ever had and the shepherds pie was great also. The service was very good and Jennifer even remembered that Conundrum Red was my favorite! Well be back for sure.

Best place to get Italian cuisine on the west close for a decent price.
