Since this Cafe is so close to my house, I love taking my friends here when they come visit. The town of Orinda always gives me this feeling of leisure and grabbing a bite at Cafe Teatro helps to calm my mind. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available but I prefer outdoor for the sense of serenity (and because I get to look at my motorcycle while I eat). Love the Melts and Espresso here!

I am so happy I found this place! The sandwiches are fresh and the honey lavender latte was perfect…I haven’t had a good iced latte like this in a while. We also got to sit outside and listen to a live pianist.

Great Cafe in Orinda. It is located adjacent to the public library. They have ample seating and plenty of shade. They offer a light menu and a large selection of beverages. Our coffees were very good.

Stopped here during the work day to pick up a cappuccino for that 2:30 feeling. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of coffee and service. Would return again or recommend to a

Met up with a former colleague for lunch this afternoon. Cafe Teatro is a fairly simple straight forward operation. Coffee drinks, Italian sodas, sandwiches, assorted muffins and pastries.I got the pesto chicken sandwich on sourdough. It was fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced.Restrooms are on the second floor by the library entrance. There's a brightly colored patio area with umbrellas and artwork. This is a great place to meet up with friends, or just hangout and enjoy a snack and a book.

I had a bagel sandwich with iced tea and a expresso con panna at the end? Everything tasted very good and the prices were right. Sitting outside table was also nice ?

The club sandwich and cappuccino was yummy here. Menu price is reasonable. Sitting at one of the outdoor tables on a warm Saturday is nice. The farmer market is down the street. The cafe is next to the library.

Wheelchair accessibility: Open layout.

Just came here and had to wait 30 mins for sandwich. The store aint busy yet. Don’t think it is right way to service a customer with this way.

Very quick service! We got our cappuccinos from here in less than 5 minutes from walking in the door. They were yummy. It looks like they used ily coffee beans.

I generally really like this place and the tuna melt is delicious. This time however I was just shocked the employee wouldn’t make one at 3:30 when they close at 4. Understand ordering food 15 min to close is an unwritten no-no. But the response “we closed the kitchen bc we’re slow today” at 3:30 just seemed like she was being lazy and doing it on her own terms. Unfortunate.
