Consistant. I've been a customer at Casa Orinda since 1957. It is now 2025 and I keep on returning. The surroundings are unique and have become as comfortable as an old, well-worn pair of shoes. Always greeted with dignity and respect, the food is consistently good. Fried chicken, prime rib, ham and eggs, last night it was the special risotto. Delicious!
Had a great meal at Casa Orinda. Had not been there in a long time. Waitress was excellent. I had Veal piccata which was excellent. My wife had Eggplant parmigiana which was also great. Will be going back soon!
It was alright. I wouldn't hurry back. It's got old school ambiance and clearly a loyal local following. But it took 15 minutes to get seated (with a reservation), and a long time to order. Probably didn't get our dinners until an hour after we arrived. Might be great for an adult date night but we had a toddler, so wouldn't recommend bringing kids (though there were many tables with small children). I just expected faster service.
