I’ve been eating here since they opened. Tacos are my favorite here, especially Al pastor, they even throw a slice of pineapple on each taco. Always consistent and always legit street tacos, served with delicious salsa and spicy jalapeños/carrot mix. They have added other new items to their menu (smash burger) but I’ve only tried their delicious tacos. Trust! These tacos won’t disappoint! Service at times could be hit or miss. There’s a new guy at the register who recently gave my friend and I rude vibes. He was definitely new. The old crew is way sweeter and always gracious.
Thanks Camelones for making most delicious tacos on this side of the Bay!

Secretly this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the east bay. Don’t sleep on this place.
was there a reason counter guy fell way short on helpfulness and friendliness?
It appears no one here wants to deal with customers.
First there's no phone orders.
Then there's the QR code, that's a no for me.
Then at kiosk when prompted for which meat I want in burrito, I ask what birria is, the guy can't be bothered to explain so points to sign that doesn't explain either(this is the English speaking guy). When I say that doesn't explain what birria is either he points to another sign. All the time with attitude like customer service is beneath him. Then the kiosk is asking questions that aren't making sense. So I end needing to order at counter. Often when service people are in re unpleasant there could be something behind it. So I remained polite.
Also food was overly salted. Table weren't wiped and windows and doors need cleaned and kept up regularly as it's first thing customers see.

My coworkers and I love the food from here. We usually take out every week or so. The cookies they used to give out with our meals were the best, please bring them back, I will happily pay for these.
Parking: Street parking is usually best for easy access and quick pickup.

I've been going here since they opened and have never been disappointed. I must have tried everything on there menu but, since I'm walking with my dog, Pearl, burritos are a frequent choice. The staff may be their best asset: always cheerful and welcoming. I really miss the hamburgers though. So does Pearl.

I lived in the Mission for 10 years. In the East Bay, I get my burritos down on International.
Going in, I was skeptical. How could there be good Mexican food in Orinda?
There isn't. It turns out there's *great* mexican food in Orinda. Pastor burrito totally hit the spot. Tangy pineapple flavor on par with Taqueria Cancun.
Would go again.

By far, this is one of the best Mexican places in the area. The food, the salsa, everything is always fresh. We Love this place so much that we even catered from Comelones for our son’s graduation party.

Very impressed with menu, third time there today, (all Take-out), so Atmosphere doesn’t apply. Some of the best food I’ve ever had and I’m 69. I call it soul food, the recipes and cooking methods taste like they come from the heart. Highly recommend! My favorite is the $8.50 burrito! Review 9-4-24

First experience rating. Salmon Tacos. Good portion&price. It was good. Reviews for birria were good so if my favorite spot is closed(La Chamba), I’ll return for birria&to try the vegitarian chorizo tacos, on a day where I have nothing to rush to. I waited 25minutes for 3salmon tacos. And it was not very busy. The cook was doing his best but I was only on a 45min break. I didn’t think half the time was going to be spent on waiting here. I’ve been to many and busy taquerias, this has never happened. Im npt exaggerating.
Edit: had to add another star. Those were good tacos.
