The food & service was Great, I never expected to get a Smash Burger at a Mexican restaurant. I skipped the Jalapeno sauce. It was a large cheeseburger with a generous portion of fries for under $10. The inside seating area is very small, but the staff was friendly and helpful, as this was my first time visit, but will be going back for the Burrito.

Great addition to Orinda. The pastor tacos and burritos are outstanding, as are the quesabirria. Consume is legit. Come visit these guys - you won't be disappointed!

Recommend the al pastor Cali burrito and torte with fries! Starting to be one of our go to spots in Orinda .

The prices are a little higher than your typical taqueria but the pastor Cali burrito was fantastic. Their al pastor is so crispy and flavorful, the burrito was the most massive I've seen around here in a while, and while a bit oily, it didn't feel overly greasy or anything.
I found my new burrito spot.

I’ve been eating here since they opened. Tacos are my favorite here, especially Al pastor, they even throw a slice of pineapple on each taco. Always consistent and always legit street tacos, served with delicious salsa and spicy jalapeños/carrot mix. They have added other new items to their menu (smash burger) but I’ve only tried their delicious tacos. Trust! These tacos won’t disappoint! Service at times could be hit or miss. There’s a new guy at the register who recently gave my friend and I rude vibes. He was definitely new. The old crew is way sweeter and always gracious.
Thanks Camelones for making most delicious tacos on this side of the Bay!

Secretly this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the east bay. Don’t sleep on this place.
was there a reason counter guy fell way short on helpfulness and friendliness?
It appears no one here wants to deal with customers.
First there's no phone orders.
Then there's the QR code, that's a no for me.
Then at kiosk when prompted for which meat I want in burrito, I ask what birria is, the guy can't be bothered to explain so points to sign that doesn't explain either(this is the English speaking guy). When I say that doesn't explain what birria is either he points to another sign. All the time with attitude like customer service is beneath him. Then the kiosk is asking questions that aren't making sense. So I end needing to order at counter. Often when service people are in re unpleasant there could be something behind it. So I remained polite.
Also food was overly salted. Table weren't wiped and windows and doors need cleaned and kept up regularly as it's first thing customers see.
