One of the best reubens I've ever had. Pastrami is cut right in front of you. Everything was exceptional, from food to service. I definitely recommend stopping by for fresh sandwiches, salads, or burgers.

Comfort hofbrau food in a working class dining room setting. They serve freshly prepared carved meats, such as roast turkey, roast beef, corned beef, pastrami and baked ham with sides like mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and cut corn. They have a grill that serves burgers and hot sandwiches too. Large portions - Good value for the money.

Classic hofbrau foods. Setting is reminiscent of a traditional hofbrau, open spaces and larger tables. I noticed there is a banquet sized long table in the back. It was not super busy at lunchtime on Saturday which was great for a meetup with an old friend and minimal background sound allowed us to have an unhindered lengthy conversation.

Great eatery when you crave a home style meal. Always plenty to choose: hot, sliced meats w/veg sides, open face and traditional hot sandwiches, soups & salads, and sliced desserts. Takeout is easy and plenty of tables for eat-in. My senior mom enjoys her trips to Europa and my 20-something niece surprised me saying she pops in there on her way home to Hayward after she visits me. Multigenerational favorite! Parking: plenty of space in the BevMo back lot but requires taking steps up to restaurant. Front entrance is ADA accessible/street level with angled parking at curb, can be limited.
First time visit. Delicious albeit messy Reuben... Yum. It's a great place for a diet NOT. LOL

If you're looking for healthy food without any added b.s, this will be your place to visit. I've tried their food for the past few years and the quality and taste has been consistently good. My favorite is corn beef with mashed potatoes. Definitely check this place and give them a shot.

We picked up an online-order, which was ready quickly. The corned beef and cabbage was good, but could have used some more flavor. Some pieces were a bit on the chewy side, too. Mashed potatoes were good, as were the green beans. But I thought the prices were a bit on the high side. The guy who gave me my online order was also a bit rude.
Might come back in the future for the turkey, but I wouldn't rush back here. The location is odd/difficult to get in/out of, and the food wasn't as good as some other places we've been to in the area.
