Great eatery when you crave a home style meal. Always plenty to choose: hot, sliced meats w/veg sides, open face and traditional hot sandwiches, soups & salads, and sliced desserts. Takeout is easy and plenty of tables for eat-in. My senior mom enjoys her trips to Europa and my 20-something niece surprised me saying she pops in there on her way home to Hayward after she visits me. Multigenerational favorite! If you're looking for healthy food without any added b.s, this will be your place to visit. I've tried their food for the past few years and the quality and taste has been consistently good. My favorite is corn beef with mashed potatoes. Definitely check this place and give them a shot.

We picked up an online-order, which was ready quickly. The corned beef and cabbage was good, but could have used some more flavor. Some pieces were a bit on the chewy side, too. Mashed potatoes were good, as were the green beans. But I thought the prices were a bit on the high side. The guy who gave me my online order was also a bit rude.

Might come back in the future for the turkey, but I wouldn't rush back here. The location is odd/difficult to get in/out...
