I came here for my birthday and it was delicious!! My husband and I are both Italian and their marinara sauce is PERFECT. We had the pizza and calamari. I had my toddler with me and we needed to get out kind of quickly. But, they sent me home with a complimentary chocolate mousse dessert and it was the best I've ever tasted. We will be going back soon!

I came here because of the good reviews, the pictures on Yelp and the location. I was very pleased with the food and overall ambiance of the place. We got here around 7 and was seated after about 5 min. Seems a little bit understaffed but that is understandable. We ordered the calamari, bolognese, bucatini, pesto, mushroom sausage pizza and mushroom polenta. Service is a little bit slow but the food was great. Mushroom sausage pizza (9/10) - thin crust, very well cooked, sausage is amazing. One of the best pizzas I've had. ( crust is a little too much on the crunchy side) Bolognese (8/10) - authentic tasting bolognese, could be a little more flavorful, but flavors are good. Pasta is very good but a little cold so it got clumpy (ask them to bring out food as it is finished) Calamari (8/10) - calamari was very good. Nice refreshing flavors with a good crunch. The pesto, bucatini and mushroom polenta were all so so. Nothing special. If I were to come here again, I would get the pizza and calamari!

It is in a alley within the small square. So the environment is awesome and the air is refreshing sitting outside. No car zipping by like other regular "outdoor dinning".The day we are there (Friday), there was a music performance at a near-by resturant, we could hear it from our outside dinning table, yet not too loud. The food is great. We like the pizza bread and the pizza the best. Also the calamari is pretty unique. I think it is mix with lemon sauce and basil.

Came here for a birthday dinner and haven't stopped raving about their incredible grilled Caesar salad to anyone who will listen. It's literally the best I've ever had and the dressing has that smoky flavor that we'd call "wok hei" in some parts of Asia. So good. My photo upload for that isn't working but earlier reviewers have it right: this is a salad not to be missed. That incredible flavor somewhat overshadowed the other food, which was also good - I loved the pappardelle in particular. Fresh pasta always wins in my book. Oh and cocktails! They were up to par and I definitely recommend the Attitude Adjustment. I'd love to come back for the pizzas that looked really good!

The staff was really kind, the margaritas were the bomb, and their pizza was so good. We will go back and recommend it. Thank you!!

This restaurant tops ANY PLACE I’ve been to in the Bay Area!!!It is owned by two brothers local to the east bay. On occasion you can find a great bar and on occasion you can find a great restaurant. But to find both at one establishment is such a treat and right in your own backyard of the East bay is even more amazing. The craft cocktails are insanely delicious and I truly cannot say enough about them. I absolutely loved the seasonal Beet-down cocktail as well as the Esmerelda Villalobos margarita. I’ve gone multiple times and they have yet to disappoint. Some of my food favorites are the grilled Caesar salad (my 17 year old son said it was the best salad he’d ever had), sweet and spicy fritto misto, pappardelle bolognese, mushroom and sausage pizza and the brothers burger. The atmosphere is very chill with a cool variety of music playing in the background.I’m so thrilled they’ve opened their restaurant here locally and am excited to support such a high quality establishment.

Went there after son's pediatrician appointment in Lafayette. We thought outdoor seating were plenty, but they stated they were all reserved. We hesitated but agreed to sit inside. I'm glad we didn't turn them down. Every bite were DELICIOUS! We started with the sweet and spicy fritto misto. It's calamari guys :P. We ordered to follow that up with Margherita. I was debating between the Tagliatelle Al Pesto and Pappardelle Bolognese. When I'm in this dilemma, I usually ask our server for their recommendation and I ended up with the Pappardelle. They had a sign stating they are short staffed and please be patient. They weren't kidding. It took almost 30 minutes for our entrees to appear. It was OK. Music from my college days were playing that I hummed and sang along to. My wife's favorite movie, Singing in the Rain, was on TV, but on mute. Also, most importantly, our 9 month old was not being fussy. He was intrigued at the auto drink shaker behind the bar and looks for it every time it was turned on. When our food arrived they were worth the wait; although, not sure that I would on normal circumstances. The pizza was steaming hot and fresh and I loved the Pappardelle and so did our son. The pasta was thin and light and the meat sauce was great. We set aside a few strands of Pappardelle and he finished it all, which he doesn't normally do with other foods. We don't normally order dessert, but since everything were so good we had to go for it. We were going to originally order the Budino, but we saw the Raspberry Shortcake and it looked very good. My wife was disappointed, because she thought it would be spongy. I told her it's shortbread. I enjoyed it with a freshly brewed black coffee. My wife ate a good chunk of the dessert as well. She said she liked the crust. This was a great find and worth writing about. The staff were warm and friendly. It looked like it would have been great to sit outdoors, but indoors was nice. I'd like to go back and try the food we passed over. Also, they look like they have an amazing bar that produces amazing drinks.

Brothers Public Kitchen was a blast!! We started with an appetizer of the Caesar salad and had that split. It was fabulous! It's tough for many to get a Caesar to that point of " Je ne sais quoi " but Brothers did it with panache! We followed that with the brioche. Perfect fir a summertime treat! Delicious! My friend had 2 martinis straight up, and said they were " divine " For our main course, we had the steak!! Wow! I rarely eat red meat or even steak any more, but the description made my mouth water. The food did not disappoint!! I was so wonderfully satiated that I couldn't go for dessert, so, for that evening, we reluctantly passed on dessert! We hope we can go back soon!! Thank you all for a marvelous dining experience in Orinda!! What a surprise!

Just tried this place last night and really enjoyed my food! We split the Summer Pizza, Caprese Salad, Pizza Bread and this most decadent chocolate desert. Never had a Summer Pizza and wanted to try something new. First Bite I wasn't quit sure but it keep getting better and better with each bite. The Caprese salad was sooo good and the presentation when they brought it out was mouth watering. Really good find and will go back again soon. Everything was delicious and fresh.

mediocre strip mall restaurant charging premium prices for cocktails and food. their drinks were poorly made and watered down, they uncharged me $1 per drink for serving drinks up or on a craft ice cube instead of on the rocks, and the garnish for my margarita was a huge wad of cilantro?? it was almost offensive.
