I think I'm officially done coming here after this morning's chaos. I've started coming here for a month now because it's the closest Starbucks to my new job and it's on the way. Today I had a simple order - hot chocolate with whipped cream and a toasted bagel. I got there 10mins after I placed the order (I order while I'm in Walnut Creek bc they do take longer) and my hot cocoa was ready. I waited around another 5mins for my bagel and finally asked if I could just get it cold. By the way the employee "looked" for it, looks like it wasn't going to be ready for a while. Another customer had actually walked out upset when I got in and said "forget my bagel". When I got to the car, I noticed my hot cocoa didn't have whipped cream even though I requested extra. These are very small, simple mistakes, but when they happen consistently, it gets annoying. Looks like I'll be going to the other Starbucks farther out with a drive-thru from now on.

I would like to like it here but I don’t. I come here often to study in between my breaks for work, and I’ve noticed every time I come in I don’t get greeted. This wouldn’t be a problem tbh if they treated other customers the same but every customer who comes in after me gets welcomed nicely. This happens every single time I come in.My partner unexpectedly visited me today while I was studying and they greeted him as well. We then left to grab something at Safeway and came back right after and there was still no greeting at all.I’m posting this because as employees in customer service, all customers should be treated equally and hopefully the owners read this to bring it to their attention. I would go to a different Starbucks but this location is really convenient for me.

I've been to this location multiple times and had nothing but fantastic experiences. Starbucks, in general, are usually on top of it. This location has friendly staff, good tunes and in a great location. The scones and breakfast sandwiches have always been fresh and tasty. Keep it up, Orinda Starbucks!

The cashier had a bad attitude and my chi tea latte was bland watery and unsweetened. The instructions I gave were not followed. Made me feel like I didn’t belong there. Could it have been my darker color ?
