Peligrinni in Orinda is the friendliest and most beautiful restaurant I have ever been the pleasure to experience. The food is very tasty. I have had the Roasted Chicken, Chicken Parm, Lamb, Pasta w/Italian Sausage... more. The atmosphere is very loving and feels like you are coming home. Everything is $7 on the Happy Hour menu, included well drinks and wine. Nice assortment to share. We ordered the calamari, which was served hot, with two sauces. Our server was attentive and the martinis were great! Special attention was given to the young teenager with us, which was appreciated.
The ambience is great. The food is bellisimo! If you're craving for an authentic Italian cuisine, don't go to Olive Garden. Come and try this place, you will not be disappointed. Their sauces are made to perfection. I can honestly say that their dishes are quite similar to this one restaurant I went to in Rome.
