The food is pretty bad, even for Lamorinda. I have gotten disappointing pizza, mediocre salad, and a truly awful "Philly" cheesesteak that seemed to be just an oblong patty melt made with cheese food instead of cheese (American would've been much more acceptable than that). The service is pretty bad, not that I blame the employees - if I had to deal with Orinda clientele day in and day out, I'd be unfriendly and apathetic too. The atmosphere... There are weird fans and tripping hazards everywhere outside. At least there are tables outside? Yeah, sorry, but I've tried this place at least 6 times, and it's been not great or worse every time.

Kid-friendliness: Oddly kid unfriendly. They have a kids menu but it's not on their website, and when they handed one to my kid they had no crayons or anything to do the maze on it with; the server eventually found a pen for us, on request.

Great spot for cocktails and live music. Such a great vibe. TBH the hostess is running the show there. She cleans the tables, gets people waters, and makes sure the waiters are attending to the guests. This blonde girl should be given a half of these waiters tips.

I asked one the staff where the bathroom ? was, he told me. I walk out of the restaurant around the corner where the bathrooms are for the entire complex and there's a combination lock on it. So I walk back, ask a different employee for the combination. The other employee obviously left out the information about the bathroom combination on purpose. Not sure why the games or making things difficult, but didn't find the environment friendly, only cordial. Food was decent, beer was good, bartender friendly, but wouldn't go back. Plenty of other places with better food and service.

A group of colleagues and I chose The Fourth Bore for a recent luncheon. As there were five of us, we were seated at the large center table. It was a high table but had plenty of space.We started off with two of the Bavarian Pretzels with beer cheese. I ordered the Fish and Chips. I really enjoyed the batter. Rather than the traditional batter on the fish, these were crusted with panko or similar breading. Very good.Our server was attentive but not intrusive. It was a great meal and we all enjoyed our orders.If you're in the area, give The Fourth Bore a try. The next time I go, I'd like to give their extensive beer menu a try. Thumbs Up!

Pleasant venue with outdoor tables and live music on the night we were there. Decent burgers, lots of beer choices and a solid aperol spritz for the non beer folks.
