My husband ate like a little fair pig and knocked back a whole chorizo breakfast, plus a cinnamon roll. He loves the chorizo there; says it's not greasy and is really good. I had two perfectly over medium eggs and a gluten-free pancake, which was better than I expected. With all that plus a juice and a coffee, we were out of there for $25, which is really hard to do these days. They're open both days on the weekend, and we will definitely be back.
Dietary restrictions: They have g.f. pancakes and buns.

We waited 2 hours for food. The waitress didn’t refill coffee without us having to get up and ask. I am pretty sure she forgot to put our order in because a big table that came in behind us got their food. We would have been ok with this if we had been communicated with but we were not told anything and we are hungry. Even after they told us that it was going to be 5-10 minutes and it was not.
my family & I came in approx just 10 min before close after driving for 3 hrs with 3 hrs left, the owner & employees were beyond accommodating, kind & the food was SUPER fresh ? Hand pressed burgers, yummy buns, and the Carne asada rice bowl was exactly what I needed. I somehow even left one of my bags behind and he came out & brought it to me. 10/10 experience. Will definitely be back when traveling on I5! thank you!

Delicious! I liked how you could build your own breakfast with the individually priced american breakfast staples on the menu. I appreciate how all four of our meals were presented at the same time.
The baked goods in the jars and the antique style decor were cool and delicious.
Thanks for giving us some info on the herbs used in the country potatoes! We were all trying to figure it out.

Could not recommend HECHO on 4th Street more. The owner took our order and seated. All staff was kind and efficient. Food was great ... healthy! I highly recommend the Harvest Burrito but have it as a scramble instead. So good. Next time we are coming through Orland, we will be back!!

Stopped through on our way to San Francisco. Good atmosphere, staff was friendly, and food was good. Ordered chicken pesto paninis and fries, very tasty and hit the spot! Also has some really yummy looking bakery items and betting they were delicious!
Vegetarian options: Saw on menu that they had some veggie options.

Exceptional Dining Experience at Hecho on 4th Street!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hecho on 4th Street, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the outstanding customer service was evident; the staff was attentive, courteous, and genuinely committed to ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
The speed at which our orders were taken and served was impressive, without compromising the quality of service or food. The servers were incredibly sweet, making us feel welcome and valued throughout our visit.
Now, onto the food – the chilaquiles verdes were nothing short of spectacular! Each bite was bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. It's rare to find such authentic and delicious chilaquiles at such reasonable prices, making it an excellent value for the quality and taste.
Overall, hecho on 4th Street exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for exceptional customer service, mouthwatering dishes, and a fantastic dining experience. Five stars all around – I can't wait to return!

We got greeted right away, which was nice. Food was pretty good. Coffee was okay. We weren’t told the coffee was flavored so while you can choose a light roast or dark roast, the light roast apparently has hazelnut flavoring which sucks if you don’t like hazelnut (like me). My coffee also had a bunch of coffee grounds in it, which was also unfortunate. The waitress we had hardly came around so we couldn’t ask for a new cup and we weren’t offered refills. While she finally came around to drop off the check, she did ask if we wanted to-go boxes but then we never received them. We ended up just leaving the food as we had already waited so long for service. Maybe it was just the waitress that we had and maybe it would have been understandable if the place had been packed or busy, but it was nearly empty and clearly slow enough for the waitresses to be on their phones at times. It was our first time there and unfortunately, the experience we got doesn’t quite make us want to visit again anytime soon.
Kid-friendliness: It is spacious enough to be able to have your baby in their stroller.
