“We have dined at Farwood twice this month. Once on the 14th pi day (my birthday) and again last night 28th. The meals were excellent and the service we received was great. Both Greg (14th) and Nicole (28th) were such good servers. The berry pie on the 14th was so good, wish it was part of your menu at least a couple times a month. Last night was so busy and yet all your employees never missed a beat. Thank you for the birthday gift certificates. Enjoyed our date nights.Parking: We have visited several times and have had no problem finding parking.”

“Great food, great service and great atmosphere got their new quesabirria pizza and it was really good! Came with the side of consome! I usually get the cali burrito, but this is definitely up there with it!”

“Enjoyed lunch with a group that included kids, seniors, and a few of us with very limited diets and everyone was happy! Easy access and nice atmosphere. Servings were generous and quality of food was excellent.”

“Great taco place off i5 in orland exit 619. I got the tacos and nachos. The food was very good. Ask for extra salsa.Ambiance: Nothing fancy and not meant for huge families groups. Great place to quickly stop and grab for to go.The nachos are 3 stars, lots of chips need more toppings. The tacos are 5 stars, and the adobada is delicious. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of the food. I highly recommend the tacos. It's absolutely worth it to drive past the pilot and Wendy's to get some delicious, fresh, AUTHENTIC tacos!The owners are super nice and sweet. Stop by if you're in the area and passing by, absolutely worth it.”

“Could not recommend HECHO on 4th Street more. The owner took our order and seated. All staff was kind and efficient. Food was great ... healthy! I highly recommend the Harvest Burrito but have it as a scramble instead. So good. Next time we are coming through Orland, we will be back!!”

“I ordered takeout around Noon one week ago with a few people during work for our lunch break. I had ordered #1. Deep Fried Shrimp Fritters and #7. Pad Thai w/Chicken. I had co-workers pick it up and they ended up getting busy so it wasn't the hottest of food by the time it made it back to my desk but that obviously wasn't due to the restuarant. I think off the bat what stuck out to me was the price point! Everything is affordable and the portions are more than enough. It wasn't over the top super amazing but then again I didn't really choose anything other than my go-to when it comes to Thai Food! It was enjoyable for the most part, the fritters were a bit crunchy and not worth getting in my opinion. I thought they would be a soft creamy mix of corn and shrimp but when I ate them they crunched loud like a potato chip and they were quite then. If that's the only thing to complain about i'd say they did a nice job. Four out of Five. Thank you guys!”

“Saw the signs on the highway so giving it a run. About what you would expect for a dinner out away from the city. Menu was again no real surprise. Breakfast was available at lunch which is always a welcome thing. Waitstaff were quick to seat and get a drink. Very pleasant. Typical California prices. Didn't help I ordered what I wanted not a meal. The interior is dated. But clean. I think I prefer a place like this. New and shining doesn't mean they have a well broken in flattop. Or someone who knows how to use it. Not a ton of people here but I am early for lunch coming in from Utah it's time for food where I am from. Mostly locals it seems. Flew now driving and needed a break. It is right off the highway exit and hard to miss. Easy in and out. And big parking area so if you have a trailer or RV there is plenty of room to park. And beats the hell out of fast food. Either subdued folks here or it's normally a quiet place. Food is cooked to order so relax or plan to when you come in. Not slow. Just know it's not in a warmer waiting for someone to show up. I got biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage. Food came and gravy I questioned but actually pretty good. Needs pepper. Eggs were pretty close to ordered and whole thing was very good. Doubt I will leave anything. Give them a stop if you want some good home cooking !”

“Word around town is "The Green Taco Truck" is where to stop for lunch! I have worked at a few different businesses in Orland and this truck has made it's reputation into many peoples normal lunch conversation. I stopped here with a co-worker on 10/17 around 1:30pm and ordered 3 Burritos, Nachos, and a handful of tacos to go! I have been here before so it was new to my co-worker. I was excited to see if he enjoyed the food. We got back to the office and he called me on the phone and had to tell me how enjoyable the food was. Overall, prices are MORE than affordable, staff is always friendly and the food is exactly what they have described. I think we have eaten at about every single restuarant this town has to offer so I feel confident saying this. There's picnic tables to sit down and eat or it has plenty of parking for a quick takeout on your lunch break. That's what we opted for, and it was definitely quick! Thank you guys! I'm glad I showed my co-workers the hidden gem in Orland!”

“I wish I didn't decline the receipt because now I don't know the nice woman's name and can't add it to this review (which was the whole point of me saying anything in the first place...) She is the blonde that helped me on the register. I was able to pick up my order super fast! My pizza was done on time! Just like they told me it would be when I ordered over the phone only 15 minutes prior.”

“UPDATE: 9/17/2023.....The only thing that changed with Maple Garden is that they only do take out orders. I'm not sure why this happened; but the food is still good, the service is still good. The phone hadn't stop ringing in the time I was there, still popular. You can call in an order or you can order inside and wait. Hope it opens to public soon.==============================I read about Maple Garden on Yelp and wanted to try it. It was very good to our delight. The restaurant was very nice in decor and music and, for a Sunday it was busy on take out orders. We enjoyed our food and will come back. It was a Sunday and plenty of on-street parking was available. A short wait but worth it.”
