I had the ground round steak and it was great. Mashed potatoes were rather plain but fine. The broccoli was horrible, way over cooked and served soggy, mushy, and flavorless. A single waitress for the whole front end is just a horrible management decision.

Got the chicken fried steak breakfast and it was tasty enough. It is not huge portions though. I'm a light eater and finished it all. The gravy is kind of bland and the potatoes needed to be cooked more. But overall it was good enough. Probably wouldn't go back

Family owned business with a very relaxed atmosphere. Waitress was so genuinely friendly. I had the beef patty, charbroiled, with hash browns (not greasy!) and two fresh eggs. Healthy alternative to fast food. Highly recommend.

I love this place so much! My husband & I stopped by for breakfast while traveling & the food was absolutely delicious! Oh, & the salad had beans!!!!

Not much on looks from the outside or inside, but this was a hidden gem. There is always a daily blue plate special, as the name suggests, and everything is served on a blue plate. The day I went, it was a prime rib dip sandwich with fries. I am not a fan of prime rib, but this sandwich was amazing!! It was a little pricey for lunch, but it was one of the best sandwiches I have had.

Clean and waitress was very nice. We ordered breakfast and a side of fries. The food took forever to come and when it did the gravy was cold, the hash browns were under cooked and the fries tasted of oil that needs to be changed. The total was $36 and some change. Front of the house is run well, the back of the house is not.

I recently stopped at Blue Plate Special in Northern California with my daughter and boyfriend during our drive to Vancouver BC. The spaghetti was absolutely delicious, and my boyfriend enjoyed the enormous Big Joe Burger with perfectly cooked tots. The waitress was incredibly helpful and had a great sense of humor, making our dining experience enjoyable. We loved this little gem of a place!

So many things wrong with this restraunt.

Starting with the terribly maintained parking lot, entering the uninteresting and outdated atmosphere of the dinning area, the uncomfortable and depressed greeting from the older server and silent awkward stare from the younger, and receiving cornbeef hash that tasted terrible.

Unfortunately, can not recommend.

Hopefully they invest some time and effort where it needs it most.

Best food! Great service.

This is a hidden gem. Food was good. I had breakfast, the place also offers bloody Marys. I looked up breakfast joints and this place wasn't even listed. Perhaps it's because it's labeled as an Italian restaurant? Well, they offer lunch also and when driving off they also advertised weekends live music. Check ✔️ it out!
