We enjoyed some drinks at the bar. The bartender was incredibly helpful and very approachable. I didn’t catch his name but he was a gentleman… I’d say mid 40s? With a beard. He was engaging, very knowledgeable about the beers on tap and the alcohol in the cocktails and had some lovely recommendations for the dessert menu.

The service and food at the Farwood are consistently top notch. We were seated quickly by a delightful hostess. Our waiter, Richard(pretty sure that was his name) was attentive and engaging without being overbearing or too familiar. The warm bread and garlic compound butter are such a yummy start to the meal. The tomato basil soup is the best I’ve had. Salads are generous and fresh. Drinks are promptly refilled. The people of Orland are blessed to have a restaurant of this caliber in their town!

We always receive a pleasant greeting when we enter the restaurant, and are seated without much of a wait. The service is friendly and prompt, the food is amazing, and we always have a very nice dining experience. We highly recommend Farwood Restaurant!

Got a salad and it was okay at best. Steak overcooked, smelled a bit funny with some vegetable oil. Too much fried mushrooms and onions - has hard to taste anything else. It’s definitely not $26 salad.
