The male owner sent an email to all its patrons complaining about having to pay its employees an increased minimum wage. It was distasteful and disrespectful to the people who keep their business afloat. The female owner really made a good impression on us before this. We're very sad we won't be back.

We have dined at Farwood twice this month. Once on the 14th pi day (my birthday) and again last night 28th. The meals were excellent and the service we received was great. Both Greg (14th) and Nicole (28th) were such good servers. The berry pie on the 14th was so good, wish it was part of your menu at least a couple times a month. Last night was so busy and yet all your employees never missed a beat. Thank you for the birthday gift certificates. Enjoyed our date nights.Parking: We have visited several times and have had no problem finding parking.
I had the sausage and potato soup, it was great. The tomato is still my favorite! My chicken caesar salad was divine, as usual. Attentive service, also per usual. Farwood is always my first choice when I'm lunching in Orland.

We love stopping in at Farwood! The food is always delicious. We enjoy grabbing cocktails and appetizers at the amazing bar and if we have more time we love sitting down for an amazing meal.Parking: Plenty of parking either in the lot on the side of the building or along the street.
They have a yummy steak and mashed potatoes. They did mess up my order and gave me a pink steak, but they corrected the issue and were super apologetic. I understand things happen. They also threw in a free dessert. Chill atmosphere.

I’m critical. This is easy to rate 5 star. I rotate from ribeye to fillet. Cooked perfect as ordered- medium rare - every time. I ride HD out here from Chico every week or two. Easily the best cut of meat in 50 mile radius I have had. I try places by word of mouth.It’s Farwood for the best cut of steak and preparation.

We loved our dinners. I'd been telling our first-time guests how tasty the garlic bread is but we ordered an appetizer and didn't get the bread. It makes sense: it would have been too filling to have both. We'll have to return with our friends so they can enjoy the garlic bread another time. Our waitstaff seemed harried and hurried which is unusual for Farwood. It was a busy night and she noted they were short-staffed. We understood but typically have friendly, helpful waitstaff.

I love to go to Happy hour, your appetizers are fantastic ? But you only have beer and wine on your Happy hour. I drink your well, which is of a great choice, but you don't offer it on Happy hour. I don't understand this. Love Farwood a great place.
