Food poisoning. Both of us got it. The chef wasn’t using his gloves nor did they refry the meat; scooped straight from a carton.
We haven’t kept any food down in 24 hours. If you’re driving through the town, I suggest you keep going.

Excellent food and service. I'm from Connecticut and I was passing through this town looking for somewhere to eat and I found this place with its food with an authentic and homemade flavor.

Food is delicious. Highlights were the chile verde burrito. Kids loved their bean and rice burritos. Shrimp burrito was very good but shrimp is fried. Overall Would recommend. Note - restaurant is VERY small. More of a taqueria than a restaurant. Nice stop off I5. Downtown has beautiful architecture and looks like it must have been lovely back in the day.

The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations, but we were able to place our order at the front counter of the store. The birria burrito is soooo, sooo good - the sauce, the meat - flavorful af! Don't hesitate to stop here. You won't be disappointed :)
