Huh huh what bridges ohh them ones no longer in use
The Bidwell Bar Bridge, first suspension bridge of California, was transported from New York via Cape Horn 1853 and was completed 1856. Privately built as a toll bridge & costing $34,922 . It boasts a beautiful view of the new Bidwell Bar bridge just across the lake & Bidwell Marina restaurant & bar & campgrounds. Floating campgrounds make for an exciting evening with boats & kayaks for rent at the floating marina store.
Seeing California first suspension bridge was awesome. Looked like a baby golden gate bridge
Beautiful views! take some time to walk across the bridge itself. I love coming here, zen.
It’s really beautiful!
Awesome spot to check out the scenery!
Good view, leads up to bald rock
Nice View
So beautiful
Cool bridge-but DONT EVER leave your car unattended here. The tweakers from berry creek will smash your windows and take everything you have.Just went fishing and came up from under the bridge and all my tires were slashed and windows shattered and all my stuff wss taken. It's really too bad that we can't enjoy the amenities of our beautiful town anymore.Haven't fished in oroville since then.

This bridge is so pretty. It reminds me of the sodor suspension bridge from Thomas & Friends
It's a nice walk across the bridge!
Always love seeing the lake from this bridge. And seeing the bridge from the lake.
