“Food was hot and fresh. The waitress was hot and fresh can hardly wait for the weather to change so we can sit in the patio. Typical sports bar very noisy, but worth the good food.”

“The owners had agreed to accommodate our group of 25 on a Friday evening before attending a concert at the beautiful Oroville State Theater. They also graciously agreed to allow us to bring in food (rather than limit us to their beautiful charcuterie boards) so delicious fried chicken and mojo’s from Shakey’s Pizza were shared. Their venue is comfortable, friendly while offering a wonderful wine list and tap beers. I’m sure our group will invade their lovely wine bar again soon. I will be ordering one of their charcuterie boards my next visit!”

“Shakey's has the best old school tavern style pizza joint. With their heavy tankard beer mugs to their fresh baked pizza and crispy fried mojos, it's truly an enjoyable experience. Oftentimes they have live music on some weeknights which is also a lot of fun! Staff is nice and quick! The garlic chicken, Hawaiian, and supreme pizza are really delicious. Great value and great pizza!”

“Love the staff at Safire. They're very attentive, professional, and know how to personalize your experience. The host/hostess is alway very warm and welcoming. The servers are great and anticipate your needs. The food is always delicious and carefully crafted as you'd expect from a high end restaurant. As true with the high-end experience, the portions aren't particularly large but I've never left here hungry even if I only get a main course item with no appetizers or additional sides. This particular reservation was made for my father's 76th birthday and we all left feeling full, happy, and taken care of. They made the evening special by singing "happy birthday" and presenting a delicious slice of New York cheesecake. Thank you to all at Safire!”

“food was outstanding. id like to spend more money here but the phone number listed is invalid so i cant order for pickup. they dont offer delivery which is by far the biggest loss for this place as they offer food other places dont and would run the local delivery market as the only establishment doing so with sushi especially. our walk in visit was awkward, no real host or hostess, we stood around not knowing if we just seat ourselves, finally someone seated us. we were at a table that was on a weak patch of floor, so everytime a person walked by our food and cocktails were rattling back and forth on our table substantially. none of that matters to me though, because the food was great, the bar and bartender, as well as the selection of top shelf spirits were excellent. one of the choices i tried to order from the lineup off the top shelf though i was told it was the owners unopened special bottle? ok, maybe put it on his/her desk instead of teasing customers who want a glass haha. were holding out for a phone number that works, and for ordering to go or for delivery. they would get our money weekly, and others as well. maybe they can get with union to figure out a website and delivery options through doordash. the menu online is 7 years old, and only a facebook page for any info on the place. it really needs some upselling and marketing help. i hope this place grows and thrives, tons of potential waiting to be ironed out here. i wish i was the manager the place would be hopping all the time. cheers to nori, thank you for the excellent food and spirits.”

“Had their buffet and the cashier asked if I wanted a drink with it and I said no just water so it was only 10.00. Last time I went cashier didn't ask if I wanted a drink just included it cost almost 15.00. I like having the option of getting a soda or water. Like the 10.00 price ”

“Surprisingly good pizza. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the pizza. The crust was really crispy and the ingredients on top were plentiful and fresh. The twisted breadsticks were an added bonus to that. This location has a private party room and they didn't charge an additional fee to reserve it which was much appreciated. There's also an arcade in the back for fun times for the kids!”
