Good food but getting really expensiveI love Popeyes because it is always really good, Well cooked and tasty chickenBut the prices are a little crazy sometimesThe chicken sandwich is 5$ which is reasonable but with fries, and 2 biscuits and a drink you can easily spend up to 20$ on one person. They need to stop charging for sauces. Also try the blackened ranch it's really good. It's really good high end food but only on special occasions because the food is really pricey
I'm fond of their spicy chicken sandwich...but like all burger or sandwich type meals, it has too much bread for me. I love how Popeye's (Oroville CA in particular) seems to be just fine with giving me the spicy sauce and extra pickles on the side so that I may discard the bottom bun and dress the top bun only.This and the fact that the food is ALWAYS just as it was the last time...always consistent... makes Popeyes my go-to on those rare fast food occasions.

Of all the years of having the “other”chicken competitor… I rate Popeyes chicken, to be better, much better.The flavor is much better as well. Growing up in the 70s, 80s, even the 90s, I’ve gotten so used to the “other“ competitor. I’ve just gotten tired of the flavor… It’s in the flavor… Popeyes chicken has it, it’s great!!!
