Big Reds California BBQ

I meet a friend for lunch in Oroville often. I looked around for something new and discovered Big Reds on Google.
We tried it out
Friendly staff, comfortable dining area, great decor and music, and most importantly the food. BBQ usually makes me think higher price. But it's worth it when you have the craving. Big Reds was surprisingly priced nice. And better yet, the portions and quality are note worthy. I will definitely be going back and looking forward to it.

They serve huge portions and all the meat falls off the bone, so many options on bbq sauce and hot sauces and the food is incredible. I always recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Sadly having to edit this 3 years later don't get food here unless you don't want what you ordered. Portions are not worth the price.

Boyfriend and I were just there and I'm a bit picky when it comes to bbq but this place the food was so good. We will for sure go again and bring friends

This was the perfect weeknight date night for me and my husband. The service is always amazing. The food is always delicious. I got the brisket and the collard greens and the corn. It was all so delicious. They also have homemade barbecue sauce sauces on the table for you to use and each one is so yummy. The service is always on point and it really makes you feel like you’re in that small town hometown feel when you get to talk to the owner and the cook before they bring out your food. I highly recommend this restaurant if you have a craving for barbecue, but don’t have the time to cook it so grateful to have this place in our community!

The food has got better recently. The go to is the loaded mac bowl with tri-tip. What doesnt please me is the 5.50 charge for two soda cans, due to their soda foutain being down. All in all the food comes hot and fast. Just having a hard time with the soda price. Times are tuff but dang!

How dare you put it back on me. If comping soda cans because of poor planing on your part hurts your business that bad, CLOSE! Im from an old school gen where we didnt have to complain about something to get change. We just knew if we wanted to keep customers we did right by them. Honestly, wont be back now for sure. Trying to make money off of sodas at a BBQ place is insane. If you cant make profit from a 14 dollar small bowl of mac and cheese, then your business model needs revamping. GOOD LUCK!

Stopped in for the first time lots of choices on the menu. Went with the pulled pork sandwich and tots was not disappointed. It’s a lot of food and very delicious definitely be back soon and try some of the other options on there menu.

Never had a bad meal here. The pulled pork mac & cheese, elote corn, and tri tip are all delicious. They also have some of the best French fries I've had
