Casa Vieja is always DELICIOUS and the service is fantastic. All the staff is so welcoming and observant. My family and I crave the awesome flavors of so many plates! I adore the tostada con guac!!!!This is our all time favorite, no doubt!

We were going to eat lunch here yesterday but they were closed. They have changed their hours and it is all over the place. I won't be back because I forgot to take a picture of their sign with the new hours. You will need a picture because of all the cross out of the days and hours that they are not open.

Bomb food bomb for proportion sizes. If you're a hungry person you got to try there Super Burrito it's 3 lb I added extra meat to it ate the whole thing finally felt like I actually ate something that satisfied me and it's been a while. If you like food you got to go here especially if you like Mexican food. Thank you guys very much now that's what I'm talking about

The server was very observant and efficient. Didn't catch her name but she was great. Food was excellent and priced reasonable. Definitely will go there again.

I’ve been eating here for 20+ years and absolutely love their food. The enchilada rancheros are unlike anywhere else!

The chips and salsa were really good. So it started off well. I had the steak fajitas. They were ok. The meat tasted good, but it seemed like round steak cut in thick strips. It was kinda tough. The veggies were good too, but it was all luke warm. Wasn't the sizzling fajitas you expect. It also only came with 2 tortillas. Need about 4 to get through the plate. Beans were good, rice was blah. A lot of food, but it wasn't knock your socks off.

I have to strongly disagree with the popular negative reviews of this restaurant. For the years my father and I have been choosing this place for lunch, we have not once been disappointed or dissatisfied. Our waitress was upbeat, patient, and dependable with our drinks being refilled just as we finished them. I loved my food just as I have every other time I've been here.In the photos attached are the Taco Salad without chips and the Super Tostada options, and the small paper slip signed by customers who enjoyed their experience at this restaurant. With a warm atmosphere, passionate owner, and consistently flavorful dishes, I strongly recommend Casa Vieja over not just the majority of Hispanic-themed restaurants in the Oroville area, but generally over most restaurants. The place is located at 1560 Huntoon St, Oroville, CA 95965, if you're hungry, do yourself a favor and eat here.

One of the worst attitudes I've ever seen from restaurant staff..it was like we were bugging her by asking about what comes with a certain combination plate. Stuff dripping down walls.. saw salsa from a bussed table be dumped into the one serves to newly seated guests.. burrito wasn't even folded..this used to be a great place years ago, it must've been sold or something. Trying to support local business bit me in the butt.

Visited this place on a Saturday evening, there was only one other couple. I was a little nervous that it wasn’t busier, thinking that meant it wasn’t good food. I was pleasantly surprised. My carne asada burrito was very yummy, if not a bit small for the price, kids meal nachos and burrito were more than enough for my kids, the chimichanga was tasty but again, a little small for the price. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that they had almost no alternative drinks from soda (apple juice only), and the 5.5oz apple juice was 2 dollars, way too expensive for that little thing. The waitress was very kind and approachable. Will try this place again, and hopefully they will have my favorite drink Horchata, haha

We went this week because two of my family had never been and one had t went in a long time. The food was decent but a little overpriced. They kept saying they were out of this and that but continued to bring it out. One of the waitresses was nice. The other was very inattentive to just put table. She was nice and laughing and joking with everyone else, but with us she couldn't be bothered. She was rude when we walked in, when we ordered, and if we asked for anything. She took one of our cups and forgot it somewhere, took it to someone else's table, then she brought it back to us. I don't know why she decided she didn't like us, or why she needed to be mean because we had never met her before and we were being polite. I was literally having an anxiety attack before we left. Overall the food was decent but the service was pretty bad. If we ever go here again we will definitely be taking it to go and not dining in.
