Been going here for 30 years and it's been going down the toilet in recently. The food quality and consistency just isn't what it used to be and the serving staff doesn't seem to care anymore. Many of their plates are way too salty now and they charge automatic gratuity (tips) calculated on the after tax amount. You don't tip after the tax amount and you should inform the guests it's going to be charged before they order.
Food is excellent. Full of flavor and very filling.

••••First off, let me just say that for the last year I have purchased the "Honey Walnut Chicken" plate from ••="Tong Fong lows"•• about 40 time's! •••Until recently, I would crave it so badly I would scrape change to purchase the $21 dish. ••Three days ago I went there for the first time as they were opening, and made my order.•• By the next morning I was deathly ill!!•• I had the symptom's of the worst case of food poisoning I've ever had!! ••It was the only thing I had eaten in the last couple day's, even my mother who had only a few bite's became ill! ••I know the meal come's with a side of rice and rice is easily mishandled causing ecoli and other bacteria but iether way, ••"I will never eat there again"•• and hope the rest of you "Tong Fong low fan's" be careful.•• I was so ill, I thought I was going to die!!!!

We ordered delivery had never eaten from here so thought we would try. Eggs rolls greasy & burnt, bbq pork fried rice no pork just brown rice & couple pieces of egg. Beef chow mein was so greasy, grease running out side of container, no scrumptious veggies like menu said. inly an onion cut up. We never ever will order from here again, plus they told DoorDash food would be 25 minutes late. Don’t even want to give 1 star,

My mom used to bring me here as a child it's been 20 years since I lived in Oroville. I bought my very picky 4 year old, and she loved every bite it was just as I remembered so glad I could give this memory to my 2 girls while in town

Consistency of the food is good, you will always get a great tasting meal. The prices have definitely went up a lot but I guess that's just inflation. Mongolian beef is so good!
So delicious... The servings are huge!! So bring your appetite and get ready for left overs.

My husband talks of this place often. In the 60s when he went to St.THOMAS catholic school he'd ride his bike there as a treat at least once a week when he was in the 5th and 6th grade. He'd sit up at the front counter and always have a bowl of chicken rice soup. He remembers the owner as being a very nice man. He remembers going there with his family and the tables having curtains around the tables next to the wall. He couldn't tell you about any other place he ate as a kid, but he has fond memories of this place.

Went for the first and the last time. There were tons of flies in the restaurant and bothering us the entire time. Then it got even better when we found a dead fly in one of our dinner plates. The server said sorry about so many flies and said next time we come he wouldn't sit us by the window so we wouldn't be bothered by them as much.
