Old school burger joint that's been part of Oxnard for a very long time. I used to come here when I was a teenager and only ever got the burger and fries. Now that I'm a little older, I had to try the other items on the menu. Boy was I missing out! The Fried burrito and taquitos with cheese were amazing! Yes they are probably not the healthiest but damn they were so good. It's the type of food that you crave in the middle of the night. Next time I'm getting another fried burrito with chili to go along with my double cheeseburger. Perfect! Oh ya did I mention the prices are insanely fair? Food always taste better when it's light on the wallet haha.

Drove all across town to try this for the first time and the girl cashier said they closed early due to too many orders with only 3 people waiting for their orders then proceeded to help the next guy who walked up to the counter. Definitely not going to waste my time going back .

Love this spot. I usually get a triple chili cheeseburger and a pastrami sandwich with no mustard, but add mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato with pickles and an order of onion rings with ranch. You can not go wrong with.Buddy Burgers is a staple spot in the nards.

After driving by this place for over 2 decades now, I finally gave Buddy Burgers a try last week. Not being from Oxnard, I came back today for seconds since I was in the area. The burgers aren't too big, but they're honestly just the perfect size imo. Just the right amount of chili to patty and cheese ratio. I've tried the double chili burger and double chili cheese burger and both are very tasty. I also tried the chili bun which consisted of two regular burger buns with mustard and filled with chili. Also tasty! Their chili is really good, which is what made me come back again a week later honestly. Service was fast both times and they have seating out in the back if you want to eat there. I take it to go and I'd recommend coming during the day, as it is not in the best part of town. Definitely gives off that old school vibe feel that's so comforting.

I'll never forget the day my parents bought their first home. I must have been like 6 years old and I remember our first meal at that household was buddy burger!! Same Classic Taste almost 30 years later!
Great quick bite! Fries resemble McDonald's and super reasonable prices for a combo compared to everywhere else. Service was great from taking my order to the cook making the burger & fries. Definitely gotta stop by and try a burger or a chili dog.

Searched for "Best Chili Dog" in Ventura / Oxnard. This is what popped up. I figured OK, I'll roll the dice. It's a hole in the wall burger joint in the middle of downtown Oxnard. The chili was just crumbled hamburger meat that had very little sauce / texture. No flavor as you would expect in a chili sauce. On top of that, the bun was old and hard. If you're looking for a good chili dog, this isn't the place.

This has got to be the best and fastest but not too fast...cheeseburger I continue to eat year after year. Everyone here has the best attitude and just so friendly. Buddy burgers in Oxnard-people!! You will not be sorry. Don't get me started on the chilli fries!! This is the spot!

Ordered a couple of cheese burgers and a hot dog for my family. We just got the basics so I can't give an account on the other items. We enjoyed them! Quick and to the point. Price point is great too. Feeding my family of 5 for under $30 dollars is always a "hell yeah" from me. We wanted to eat there, but there was a young guy smoking on the patio (which isn't really the facility's fault, considering it's a walk up on the street). It definitely looks like it could use a facelift, but hey, so could I. Best part is supporting a local small business and getting some grub
