It's been seven years since my last CJs meal and the food hasn't changed. It's still the best BBQ hands down. There is plenty of seating with some outside. The staff is still smiling. I loved seeing their growth. Keep going. ❤

So as far as past reviews of bad service or food, I don’t know. Maybe it was an off day. All I can say is that I went there today and got the Louisiana hot links, beef rib, Mac and cheese, and cobbler and it was all amazing. Total cost was $29 which was bad considering the amounts and comparatively against other bbq joints in SoCal. Honestly I expected to pay more around $40. The Beef rib was tender and sauced just right, the hot links were sauced and just the right amount of spice, the Mac and cheese was great, and the cobbler was awesome! They also brought hot damp towels to clean my hands off. 5/5 will be going back!

I usually don't leave reviews but I am just deeply disappointed in this place. It used to be great! The food used to be so good, I don't know what happen! The ribs were a little dry, Mac n cheese was ok, chili was barely chili and more like ground meat with sauce that tasted like tomatoe sauce. Service wasn't great either. Lady who took our order looked like she didn't want to be there. And the worst part is that it upset my stomach the next day! Warning sign should have been the two unused smokers outside.

Food is very expensive and the service is horrible the cashier was not trying to help me out with ordering as it’s my first time there and made me uncomfortable and I got a small order and it was damn near $50.00 in all honesty this place isn’t good and they should reconsider being more inclusive towards everyone and not having such a rude and don’t care attitude!
Dry chicken relatively flavorless on the inside, decent sauce though. French fries were good. I would try again and get other dishes in the future to make a better judgement.

Big thanks to Chris and his team at CJ's for excellent food and service at unbeatable price. They catered a retirement party for 130 people, and everyone loved it! Lots of great food for 30% -40% less than other bbq place were quoting for the same food/service. Again, so happy with CJ's BBQ! Thanks again.

Really enjoyed my visit, had the fried catfish, which was delicious, the serving for the Mac was a little small, they tasted decent I just wish it was a little more, but the housemate chips were just okay. The service from the cashier was wonderful. She was knowledgeable about the menu and had good recommendations. Nice small little spot. Would definitely recommend for a little BBQ.
