Nothing to rave about or want me to go out of my way to come here, but it is good barbecue and the serving sizes are modest. It can't be a little hard to find, and it is counter service with only a few tables inside. The only thing I thought was missing was they didn't give you wet wipes for your fingers.

Food was beyond amazing and portions were great for the price especially in this economy, got a 3 meat combination and a rack of beef ribs, ribs were a little bit tough but the woman working at the front of house came out and not only substituted it but came out personally and talked to us walking us through the process in making them. Great food and even better service 10/10 will be returning

First time at CJ's. Tritip sandwich was great, nice flavor, good sauce. Have already been back. If you try you will see it is tasty. Thanks

I never go there without getting a pulled pork sandwich. I’m picky when it comes to meat, but CJ’s pulled pork sandwiches are to die for! They’re messy but truly worth it. I couldn’t ask for a more delightful flavor or texture.
The cashier lady who works there was quiet so I had a bit of a hard time hearing everything she said, but she’s very sweet and friendly. The music there is great and both me and the cashier lady ended up singing along. It was easily one of the most fun dining experiences I’ve had so far.
CJ’s is a very small restaurant. If I recall correctly, it used to be at least twice as spacious and in the same location but with a different, easier to find entrance. I missed back when there were photos on the wall. They do, however, have a cute tip jar and even souvenir shirts, and like I said, the music is lovely. There a couple places to sit inside and plenty outside, and honestly there’s kind of a cozy charm to how small the restaurant is. But my favorite part of the atmosphere would have to be, well, the literal atmosphere. Not only does the restaurant smell good, but the grill outside smells so delicious that I can practically taste it! The aroma is so appetizing that I could be stuffed past my breaking point and it’ll still make me feel like I haven’t eaten in years.
I’ve been to CJ’s a few times so far. It’s right near the dentist’s office, so I usually go there to get myself a treat and kill some time after my visits. I just wish it could be a little closer to where I live so I could go more often.

I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was pathetic overall! The bread was water soaked from the pulled pork that was just removed from a pot of boiling water, which I can only guess because I wasn't in the kitchen....and then lightly coated with the color of bbq sauce and I can say that because the sandwich did not have a generous portion of bbq sauce on the pulled pork

Thoroughly impressed by this place! I ordered takeout, I got a 2 meat combo with thick cut tri tip and baby back ribs with a baked potato and green beans. I was shocked to see just how much meat came in the box, really nice big pieces of tri tip and super meaty ribs, wow I'm blown away for $24 seriously. The sides are on the smaller side so if you like larger sides I would recommend upgrading to a bigger size.

Ordered several sides - chili beans, baked beans, corn bread and black eyed peas. I ended up throwing the chili beans away because they were dangerously luke warm - not going to risk food poisoning because their cooks can’t run proper temp checks. Yikes.
Ordered 2 meat combo with sides. I've eaten here before and never has it been this bad. MacnCheese was 75% mac 25% cheese. Tri-Tip was tough every bite. I hate to give a bad review, but this meal was trash....
Our family drives over 45 minutes to an hour just for the amazing BBQ. The food is true southern style and amazing every time. The meat melts in your mouth and the side dishes are delicious. Worth the drive every time.

I ordered 2 pounds of Tri tip and got two sandwiches and two baked potatoes. I called the store to fix the order and the woman just told me I’m wrong. Where does it say I ordered sandwiches and baked potatoes.
