Me and my husband were going to carpinteria but we decided to eat before and we serch for a place to eat and café Amri was the closest one. We are so glad we went there the food was delicious, the owner was very nice, I will definitely go back if I'm around the area. We are from Long Beach

Loved the food selections for our table. Everyone loved the food and service. The atmosphere was good, but the space between seating areas didn't have a feeling of separation or privacy. Decor was unmemorable.

The staff is very friendly! The food is tasty. The portion size is average. The price is high. My wife and I each got one entree for breakfast. After tax and tip it was $50!
I have been coming to this family owned breakfast and lunch café for 14 years now, and I have never been disappointed.
Me and 2 of my friends decided to have lunch there yesterday, August 11, 2024, after church. We arrived around 1:15 PM to a packed restaurant, even though they close at 2 PM 7 days a week. As long as you arrived by 2 PM, they will not turn you away. We were seated in about 10 minutes, and our server, whose name is "America", took our drink orders within 2 minutes. 5 minutes later, America took our orders.
I ordered a buckwheat Belgian waffle, with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and whipped cream, and I added on a combo, with eggs (anyway you like them), and 2 pieces of bacon (or you can choose sausage). The Belgian waffle was so big that I shared mine with my friend. It was to die for! With tons of fruit, and whipped cream. It was perfectly cooked, crispy on the edges, and softer on the inside. My other friend ordered a California omelette, , Which had bacon, black olives, tomato, cheddar cheese, avocado, and sour cream. My friend really loved the omelette. It also came with potatoes (she had hashbrowns), toast, (you have your choice of fruit or potatoes, and toast or 2 pancakes. Service could not have been any better. Thank you America!
I recommend this café very highly! Stop in sometime and say hi to Ray and Irma, the proprietors, and tell them that Ronnie sent you! I am attaching some pictures of our food, my friends, and, in the black outfit, our great server, America!
Parking: This café is in the old Oxnard outlet shopping center, which most people would not find, unless they are looking for it. The parking lot is huge.
Wheelchair accessibility: Since I am in a wheelchair, I always check if businesses are accessible for wheelchairs. Cafe Amri is totally accessible to wheelchairs in all areas, as is the entire parking lot, with many disabled parking spots.
