We got the shrimp po boy, Mac n cheese, cornbread and wings and it was all phenomenal!!! Being from the south I can say that this is the best Cajun food I’ve ever had.

While we were excited to try Cajun Country Cafe, I would agree with other reviews that the food is disappointing. We unfortunately ended up throwing much of our order away. Mac n cheese was so salty—too salty to eat. On the other hand, the greens had no seasoning and tasted terrible—just spice (aka hot). The jambalaya was so spicy hot, we couldn’t eat it. We are from the south and used to eating Cajun and Creole food, and unfortunately this just completely missed the mark. Owners were so so nice though, I really wanted to like this place.

I like the feel of this place. Having the option to play board games while you wait for food is so great. My friend group and I got the meat lovers BBQ, jambalaya, and Mac and cheese. All incredibly good. I highly recommend this place. 10/10

Being from Houston and having authentic Cajun food so close and so normal I have craved it since moving to California. That being said this is by the the best Cajun food I have had and taste better than most places I have been too in Lousiana. Red Snapper is to die for!

You can't go wrong with the food from Cajun Country Cafe. The fried catfish is always phenomenal. Red beans and rice and the Mac & cheese is so good. Don't forget the hush puppies. Oh my, the flavors here are true Louisiana cookin at it's finest. Now let's talk about the peach cobbler. Oh crap it is so awesome. You shouldn't leave this restaurant without taking it with you, if you are too full to eat it there.

Ate here for the first time today and had a great experience. We ordered fried chicken despite a gluten sensitivity because they said they could use a cornmeal batter. We also ordered ribs and our sides were jambalaya, collard greens and macaroni and cheese. All the dishes were good but the ribs were amazing. The only disappointments was the size of the peach cobbler. For $9 we expected a little more and would have preferred it served on a plate instead but it was good.
We will definitely be coming back with the intent to try some of the other dishes but it will be hard not to order the ribs.
