I came across this place when i went to eat at l&l. I came inside and it smelled like new beginnings! I was immediately helped by an handsome young man with a very stunning tattoo on his right arm. If i could remember his name was Angel! i told him it was my first time here he suggested i should get the oreo cookies slush w cheezo. I got it and it was amazing every sip im definitely coming back!

Tried their Roasted brûlée bobo matcha drink and hands down some of the best matcha drinks I’ve had! Definitely recommend it! Great atmosphere, comfortable and enjoyable!

The Honey Key Lime Boom is a refreshing twist on a classic favorite. From the moment the first sip touches your lips, you're greeted with a delightful explosion of citrusy goodness. The tangy essence of key lime dances harmoniously with the subtle sweetness of honey, creating a flavor profile that's both vibrant and satisfying. What sets the Honey Key Lime Boom apart is its perfect balance. Neither too tart nor too sweet, each element complements the other flawlessly, resulting in a drink that's incredibly refreshing and easy to enjoy.

I love mangonada here, the drink isn’t too sweet so be confident to get 100% sugar for your order. The best one so far for my CA trip. I will be back anytime I visit OxnardHIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Daily regular that buys 1-2 tea(s) from chakaa in oxnard and TO. Their management started charging a fee for a "no ice" request. Since i hate eating ice, i always ask to remove ice. Now they are charging extra to do less work. I guess no more chakaa tea.

I loved my order and the vibes of the place was great! The lady taking my order was pretty accommodating. The original name of the drink was oreo brulee jasmine milk tea, but I wanted to change the jasmine for black milk tea. And she said she could that, so I was excited for that! While waiting, I love that there was a foosball table to keep us entertained. After getting our order, I of course had to take a photo with the wall art they had up. Last and most importantly, the drink was great! I just visited this place and quickly got my order, but I definitely would recommend coming here with friends to hang out~

when i heard of a new boba spot in vc, of course i had to come and try! i love strong flavored drinks and ordered a vietnamese coffee with grass jelly and it hits the spot, tastes like the places i used to go to when i lived abroad ? since it was an old sbux, there’s spacious seating inside and out as well, it’s for sure gonna be the regular spot now.

Honey key lime boom with lychee and Crystal boba is my favorite drink in the world. I love anything anything with lemonade/lime and tea and this knocks it out the park.Second favorite boba drink I’ve ever had in my life is the strawberry snow milk with cheezo. Holy smokes. Starbucks sucks compared to this place.

I am new to a Oxnard area and trying to find my Thai tea and Boba go-to. This is not the place. First, I paid $7.59 and that’s outrageous! Second, whatever cream or milk product they add in, it left a film on my tongue, and it made me think that I was drinking butter or pure whipping cream. Also, I could barely taste the Thai tea. It was overly creamy and super bland. There is nothing special about this place except the cute, but definitely unnecessary, expensive cups they put their teas in. Also, I do not feel the Boba was cooked or done very well because I could not suck most of it up through the straw so I paid for something I wasn’t able to even have. It’s very confusing when you walk in because there are chairs directly across from the cash register, which made me think that everyone sitting in them was waiting to be in line because there’s no semblance to what those random chairs are for and where the cash register line starts. That’s definitely something they could work on. Very clean place, very nice person at the cash register and seems Lively. Just really missed the mark on a good Thai tea Boba.Parking: They are in a small corner of a large shopping center so that’s why I said there is plenty of parking. Even though the parking lot hardly had any spots available, you could park across the way and just have to walk a little further.Kid-friendliness: There are several places to sit inside, and there are permanent dolphin sculptures outside that kids can sit and play on.

Love this tea house. Whether I'm by myself or on a playdate with my friends/moms and kids. We were there yesterday all 14 of us. I love how organized, prompt and friendly they are we stayed for about an hour. Safe to say this is my favorite tea house in ventura county. Their Vietnamese iced coffee and caramel milky drink is a must!!

Better off going to the Thousand Oaks location. Here their taro is GRAINY as hell and you’re just drinking straight up whole milk because it’s a paste. Thai tea tastes watered down. T.O. tastes better and doesn’t have hard boba either :/ I called and they handled it great but quality isn’t

I was running some errands in the Oxnard area when I realized I was right by Chakaa Tea house! I had seen the business on Instagram and was very curious to give it a try. There was a fair amount of drink options so I was initially unsure what to get, but thankfully by the register there was a little menu detailing the most popular drinks. I decided to try the strawberry cheezo with boba, at 75% sweetness. It came out to the usual price of a boba drink at about $8. Not long after I got there, a decent sized group of youth came in, so it's definitely a somewhat poppin spot!About five minutes later, my drink came out and I sipped on it as I walked to my car. The strawberry part was similar to a slushy and was really fruity, but not too sweet. The cheesy part was sooo good. It was creamy and delicious. The boba had a nice texture although it isn't the softest boba I've ever had. Nonetheless I really enjoyed my drink and would go back to explore the other options!

I'd have to agree with the other review by Alex that this place is close as it will get to L.A. and S.D. I'm not sure where other reviewers are getting the $10 per drink cost from. Ours were comparable to any other boba shops at $6-$7.25 each. This is probably the best boba place in the Ventura area. We get our usuals that we get when in L.A. Uji matcha without the cheezo, mango pamelo, brown sugar milk, and taro milk with real fresh taro. All the boba teas tasted fresh with real ingredients. I don't like the artificial powder and syrup that most boba shops around here make. The boba were also perfectly chewy and caramelized, which is impossible to find at other boba shops in Ventura. I'm just so happy that they're here! ☺️
