Bottomless Mimosa for 20 dollars for and 1hr30min. Food is delicious! Service is great, located in a popular part downtown. Dogs are allowed from what I can tell for outdoor seating. Spanish/English speaking atmosphere if you're bilingual. No complaints! Must go to!

I absolutely love bringing friends qnd family to the Downtown Cafe in Oxnard. The food, service, and ambience is perfect. I like that it is always busy and festive during the holidays. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ventura County!

I went with my mother on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated almost immediately. Within 20 to 30 minutes we had been seated and ordered our food and had our food delivered.
The food was awesome and very well priced. Service was also awesome. No complaints here on anything. The bathroom was clean and easily accessible. This was my first time here and I will definitely be returning.

Okay, my brothers and sisters. This weekend, we visited Downtown Cafe by JL. This place was pretty impressive. The atmosphere was comfy, the place was cute, and my family enjoyed it. It is off 5th in the theater area, so it can be a little busy, but it is a breakfast joint. So their hours are eary in the morning before the theater opens. SO enough of that, and let's start reviewing. SO I love food, as we all know. This place has something for you. I was able to get a traditional large American breakfast with a café de olla.. Wow, my food soul was instantly reaching for joyness. We also ordered pancakes very fluffy and melted in one's mouth. My family ordered eggs Benedict, and extra crispy chicken wings, delicious my friends. So this place has my vote. Go judge for yourself. Remember, make your food soul happy and God bless you all

Food: we had the steak and eggs and the simple breakfast. And the food was done exactly as requested. Every bite was delicious. We have ordered before but dining in was a much better experience. ? you owe it to yourself to comebin!Service: we ordered cafe de la Olla. The server was gracious to forward me that the serving is already sweet thus preventing me from a bad experience! (It shows how much she cares about her job, and she was so sweet)And even though it was busy for a Wednesday morning there was sufficient staff to tend all the tables. The staff helped each other out picking up tables of dirty dishes and poring coffee. Shows teamwork!Atmosphere: clean, ambient lighting and sound of music were just right. The cutlery was spotless. And tables ? were very clean. (No one swept during our meals nor sprayed other tables while we were eating) keep up the great work! Oh! and the reason for the 5 stars. All wait staff had short natural nails and hair was nearly combed back!!
