I purchased the pistachio macarons at Shop Rite. They were really awful. Taste was bitter, not sweet and had sort of a rancid alcohol flavor. I'm not sure if this is the way they were supposed to taste or if the ones I bought were defective. In any event, they were really disappointing. I was going to give them as a gift but decided to try them first. Thankfully, I did, it would have been very embarrassing based on the taste.

Not only did this ordering method make the price per macaron incredibly competitive, but it also ensured that we had an abundance of these sweet delights.For our wedding, we chose to order a selection of three mouthwatering flavors: Coconut, Salted Caramel, and Passion Fruit, a seasonal delight. Each macaron was a burst of flavor and an absolute treat for the taste buds. They were a big hit at our wedding dessert table and added a touch of elegance and deliciousness to our special day.The best part is that we didn't have to worry about wasting any macarons. Unbelievably delicious, with organic ingredients and natural flavorings... You have to find a place that sells them in LA! I've been to Paris multiple times and the flavors are so much better in these than literally any other macaron I've ever had (personal preference, I'm sure, but believe me when I say I've tried a LOT of macarons over the years). You can actually taste the real fruit in the fruit and the coffee in the coffee... wonderful! They are lighter than your average macarons, which tend to be super bright with artificial coloring, but that's because Duverger uses actual food ingredients to get their colors and the difference in flavor is... heavenly.
