If you're hesitant about taco trucks or fearful of getting a bad meal; you definitely don't have to worry about this truck. The food here is delicious and as close to Grandma's as your going to get. I've been in search of the perfect Chile Reno burrito for years. I am close to ending my search. This is year 6 of my search, and El Forastero is tied for 1st place so far. For now, at least in Ventura county, this truck is my weekly go to for a fresh fast meal. Thank you, Victor, for the great food and wonderful customer service.Vegetarian options: There are a couple of off the menu items Victor can make, just ask.

Stopped by the forastero taco truck last night, after reading the good reviews and all I'm gonna say is I have had way way better than this. We ordered pastor,tripas, and lengua tacos. I order my tripa tacos to be crunchy and instead I God somewhat rubbery tripas I was not happy at all especially when you know how things are supposed to be. The pastor taco was just ok.
Tacos here are by far the best in town! This family owned business has been here for quite awhile serving great food. We have been coming here loving the food as long as they've been open! Their street tacos are larger than most places and have more meat and there is a variety of meats to choose from. Carne Asada and Birria tacos are our favorites! So if you want excellent tacos this is the place to come too. Prices are very reasonable too! Open Monday through Saturday 5:30pm until 10pm.
