El Fortin #3 is a hidden gem in a not-so-great location, but worth a visit. The Black Mole with chicken, rice, and tortillas is a must-try, along with the tlayuda plate with 3 meats. The prices are a bit high, but the portions are generous. They have a shop selling Oaxacan/Mexican items and offer shipping to Mexico. The enchiladas de mole negro are delicious, and the attentive manager adds to the experience. The friendly staff and delicious food make it a highly recommended spot, despite its location.
